Very good version of the plot. FL is a regular in these dramas with talent. ML did a good job acting also. Gotta love a reborn plot when the protagonist actually executes a game winning plan. With a sweet and complete ending...on to the next!!!

Good drama, attractive cast and good acting. Tang Tang was fortunate to find meet Mo Yanhan after her rebirth who helped protect her from relentless bullies, especially her ex, and her evil family! Song Mian never learned his lesson of trying to use woman for his financial gain. I liked how Tang Tang caught her bullies in their own traps. I admired how the feared Mo Yanhan humbly knelt and declared his sincere love for Tang Tang in front of her grandfather. Ww.
i swear this is the only nice role thia lady has been in. in other roles she's always being abused.
The sisters voice really grates on me, irritating and whiny.

This drama is about the FL, her abusive dad and evil stepmom. She tries to win her dad's love by proving the stepmom is evil. It didn't matter how abusive the dad was toward her. It's really sad.
Agreed, but filial responsibility is very different from culture to culture. It's abusive, it's disgusting, and it's either psychopathic or narcissistic on the part of the parent. Respect needs to go both ways.
They really need to be more consistent with the voice actors that they use. The voice is way to childish this time.

I always love a good partnership drama
This is a good drama to watch if you want a strong female lead that lasts all the way through. She is smart and clever staying a step ahead, whether its her wicked step sister, vicious step mother, her biased against her father, or cheating scheming fiance`. There isn't much romance and its a bit distant relationship with her he ML, but it all ends well. You will probably enjoy watching this one!

A coward and spineless father is not what a child needs. Tongtong has done so many bad thibgs, but dad still finds room to forgive her. Meanwhile, with Tangtang, he is so quick to acvuse her. Wow !!! What a fathet. 😮😮😮😢😢😢

There is A LOT wrong with this drama...is it acceptable in China for sisters to share the same man? Also, why must parents keep slapping their kids around and it's considered normal??? If anyone slaps me, they get double back. My mom slapped me once and I gave her two in return, and she NEVER did again until she died! I WILL NEVER tolerate abuse from ANYONE!
Slapping, story-wise, is a bit of an adrenaline rush for the audience. I don't agree with the intent, nor how slapping is used more as lazy character writing.
The chin grab bothers me more, as does the strangling. I suspect it's a cultural thing, but that's a guess.
My mother would disown me if I did that(NOT LITERALLY). For African households (referring to the majority of those I know, which are a LOT since I'm South African and stuff), getting a beating is normal. A slap is nothing, trust me, but they don't hit us too bad like others perceive it to be. So it is a matter of culture. Just sharing. (Its illegal tho ;-)

I grew up with my dad though so he always taught me that physical and verbal abuse is NOT ok. He also implemented a "keep your hands to yourself" policy in our home. You can always verbally express yourself and there is no need to resort to violence. I'm grateful for his teaching because after immigrating abroad that mantra saved me from countless problems.
Slapping is (no pun intended) a matter of 'face' or 'honor' (or honour) in Chinese culture. Its more the equivalent of smearing dog **** on someone's face than actual intent to hurt them. Its a power show.
These dramas are cultural shorthand. Losing face--slap in the face. The women fighting over one man and the abuse is shorthand for the dominant male culture. The dramas use it because their audience--Asian females first--would get the power inequalities in their culture. The stories are familiar tropes magnified 1000X because these are shown in single episodes on an app, lasting five minutes max, so everything has to deliver maximum emotional "high" for the viewer to pay the "coin" to get the next episode.
For some weird reason, she has no chemistry with any male lead she played with, not one. This one is the best she did and it's no there yet. It's weird, she's pretty but something is off
Me too. I think She"s lacking in the acting department. Better for her to be just a voice actor.
The FL trying to help her family with the company and her family against her. Sigh. It would be better if she quit and start her own company.

The father of FL is all condescending, saying how she 'grew up'. Well, you had been buttered up most of her life by a nasty woman and her daughter. You should question if you ever grew up and have a right to tell her how to do anything. What a nasty father. I would not trust him ever again.

What is with that kitchen knife, anyway?
In China, it is hard to get any knives other than kitchen ones. Anything longer than 29 cm is illegal, and it must NOT be foldable, even if below the length. I saw a butterfly knife in one of the series and wondered how that was allowed just recently.
Also, you are not allowed to injure others, no matter if they started it. The police usually grab the less injured (the one still standing) as responsible, so you will be the perp if you return a slap and the other person throws themselves on the floor and cries injury. And... spitting is not considered an attack, so you will see ppl spitting at each other in some weird disgusting spit matches instead of fist fighting. It is very weird place in many ways.
For some reason the ML looks like the actor who was in another drama and he played the SML...might be wrong.

No sé si es como en KDrama pero la ropa muchas veces la regalan patrocinadores que pagan la producción de la serie. Por eso, los actores suelen tener un vestuario limitado.

This drama is not very good...someone should apologize to the actors.
The acting in this drama isn't that great all-round. Other versions are better. The ML in this one swerves from not-convincing menacing to school boy-face crush and the villains are cartoon mice running around with a dynamite that blows up in their faces again and again. While other rebirth-revenge dramas with the same script also had one-dimensional villains, a couple of them really had great evil stepmothers, with sinister smiles and calculating looks.
