How long was the process
they are barely screaming! Hell im about to go in the academy in December, and i have been a cadet since last may. We had our own "academy" for a week to let us see what its like, and man, WE got DESTROYED!! CADETS... instead of recruits...

Couldn't pay me enough to do that job with the turn cost politicians and Chiefs getting axed every quarter across the country.

Of the 548 curriculum hours required by colorado POST over 350 hours are spent learning federal and state law... so to answer your question a majority of what you learn in the academy is law.
26 weeks and annually there after and in every arrest and court situation
