    Great content ❤️; I have a question; my exam will be on April 28th (next week). I don't feel I'm ready yet. How can I reschedule or cancel my exam appointment

    • @PasstheFEExam
      @PasstheFEExam  Před 2 lety +3

      Hello Gaily. You can reschedule or cancel your exam through your My NCEES Account that you created when you registered. If you notify NCEES at least 48 hours before your test date, NCEES will refund your registration fee minus a $50 administrative fee. Pearson VUE will charge a reschedule fee.

    Alejandro said he had two practice exams from NCEES? I have one exam but would be interested in two if theyre available. I am under the impression that NCEES only publishes one?

      @alejandropatino5931 Před rokem +3

      Hey, I believe NCEES publishes 1 practice exam per year. I have the one from 2020 and 2018 I believe. If you don’t know anyone that has an older version, I could just send you one of my practice exams if you want.

    For international students what is the requirement for these exams?

    • @PasstheFEExam
      @PasstheFEExam  Před 6 měsíci

      @sagartrivedi770
      Taking the FE Exam as an international student involves different requirements depending on several factors, but here's a general overview:
      Basic Requirements:
      *Education: You need a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering from a program accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET.
      *Identification: Valid government-issued photo ID like passport is required.
      Additional steps for non-ABET accredited degrees:
      *Credential Evaluation: Most state licensing boards require international degrees to be evaluated by NCEES Credentials Evaluations (NCEES-CE) or another approved entity to ensure they meet ABET standards. This involves submitting transcripts, course descriptions, and other documents for assessment.
      *Evaluation Outcome: Based on the NCEES-CE evaluation, you may need to:
      *Take additional coursework: If there are significant gaps between your coursework and ABET requirements, you might need to complete relevant courses at an ABET-accredited institution.
      *Pass FE Exam with higher score: Some states might require international students with non-ABET degrees to achieve a higher passing score on the FE Exam.
      Other important details:
      *Check state-specific requirements: Each state has its own licensing board with specific requirements for FE Exam acceptance. Contact the board in the state where you want to be licensed to confirm exact criteria.
      *Test centers: NCEES has approved Pearson VUE test centers in many countries, including locations for international students. Check the NCEES website for availability.
      *Registration and fees: You'll need to create an account or log in on the NCEES website, register for the exam at your chosen center, and pay applicable fees.
      Here are some helpful resources for international students wanting to take the FE Exam:
      *NCEES International resource page: ncees.org/
      *ABET accredited program search: www.abet.org/accreditation/find-programs/
      *Prep Course PPI: ppi2pass.com/
      Remember, the process can vary depending on your specific situation and the state you wish to be licensed in. Contacting the relevant licensing board and NCEES is crucial for getting accurate and up-to-date information.
      I hope this helps! Feel free to ask if you have any further questions.
