This is a lovely, cheery, happy quilt and the colours Donna makes it in, here, really make it zing - I love it! I wanted to make one to banish the winter Covid blues - my version has a sage-green background behind the bright 'ditzy' flower prints that I used (as the pattern encouraged you to try different backgrounds) - but it still 'pops'! A great morale booster... Thank you Donna for showing us this! (The quilt DID go together really easily and quickly - BUT I must admit cutting and ironing into a fold all those teeny-weeny triangles for the corners (360, was it, the pattern asked for?) I did find a bit of a challenge... For me I found it was easier to position them on flat, then eyeball the diagonal on such a short distance and sew across, then flip them back and iron them into a triangle afterwards. Saved a step, and some burnt fingers at the iron! As Donna often tells us, we each find a way of working that suits us...)
This pattern didn't speak to me until I watched the video. Now, I MUST have this! Thank you Donna! It's nice every once in a while to not have to match anything.

This pattern is gorgeous! I love American Jane fabric by Moda and it looks great with this pattern. It's so nice to use different options of fabric for a pattern that looks different from the fabric shown on the pattern cover. Your choice was perfect for this pattern! It's a fab quilt it looks lovely in the floral prints and it would easily look just as good in more traditional florals or in more modern in solids, so something for everyone. Just wish I did not have to wait another week for the next tutorial! Thank you.
