It's Kaudi not Bedspread, people use this as Rasai (Chadar) to cover their body while sleeping 😊
I started reading this year and so far I've read 8 books bye her. I don't know why my mind always runs like a baby if I see a book by her.

As a beginner this book was so good for me. The Karnataka culture is well portrayed.It's really interesting to see her perspectives upon things. Could gain a bit knowledge too.
Sudha Murthy is truly an outstanding writer. I too have read several novels written by her and each one has its own charm. This book was particularly funny yet entertaining and warm at the same time. (How does Sudha Murthy manage this combination??!)
'The Magic of the Lost Temple' by Sudha Murthy is also an epic book for kids and young readers.
And with a book review like this, you can see her book in all its glory.

There was a period I couldn't put down a Murthy book. I have read most of her novels and also short story collections. Mahasweta is still one of my favorites and her short story collection Wise or Otherwise is one I have read so many times. This is a lovely book too. I need to pick it up.

While reading this book I got to know a very logical reason as to why not flatter the so called rich people in our society, which I abhor to do.
She explains that so many wrong paths are out there to earn ample amount of money.
So it is as simple as that not to flatter those people.
And this is my major takeaway from this book.
Books can really change our outlook towards everything.

This book was a feel good read book for me. Even my rating for the book was 4/5 stars. I too felt this is one of the must read book for beginners. Have you read any other book of Sudha Murthy ? If yes which is that , would love to read more of Sudha Murthy books 😊
Hey Sonali, I have read wise or otherwise by sudha murthy. It has some more life stories of her just like this one and gives us some worldly knowledge through her experience. May be I should review it on the channel. Read it sometime back 🙂. Forgot a few parts. Will re-read 😃. You should definitely read it if you liked three thousand stitches

I love reading Sudha Murty books too, have read many of her children books. Her recent book series based on mythology is also very interesting. It has a collection unusual tales from Ramayana & Mahabharata.
