  • Follow us on a journey across the roof of the world - the Pamir and Karakoram Highways. Eight weeks, two bicycles and four largely unexplored countries. An adventure into the most remote and rugged landscapes on our planet. Discover yaks, 8000m peaks, frozen lakes and the world’s friendliest people. Battling snow, altitude and fatigue this trip was tough enough without the added consideration of film-making. Completed in total autonomy this film captures the very essence of why we travel - an incredible feat of filmography. Adventure cycling at it’s finest.

There is something about the pace of this bike trip that you could not get from a motor trip and every part of it seemed too short, like the hot spring, I felt the bumps, the cold, the pain...well as much as is possible sitting in a comfy chair, your pain is our gain, thank you.

Lovely bit of filming, in fact rather inspiring - needed to turn on subtitles though for the Scot's lassie (kidding, I'm from Glasgow)..,. It seems the Chinese have finally nailed down their paranoid instincts - when I spent three months travelling there in 1988, when they had the instincts but not the mechanisms. I'm glad I saw it when I did, and doubt I'd tolerate that kind of state interference in my holiday there today. La Vieille Alliance!!

wathing your filmed journey than looking at a movie. This level of persistance reached by both.
You are in my top 10 adventurers since this measured pace becomes also the best way to prevent

A wonderful choice of music. I wish subtitles (transaction of the song during chapter 7 Pakistan) could be added in the video for the larger audience. this is the message of peace the people of Pakistan are giving to the rest of world through our music, mountains, rivers, and hospitality. Thank you for sharing your amazing journey with us.

Chapeau!

What exhilarating landscapes they are. Greatly appreciate you documenting your adventure, and especially something produced as well as this. The voice over narration is well written, and the choice of soundtrack music is perfect.
