- Hello beautiful people! I hope enjoy this video and that it helps you in your photographic endeavours. I certainly had fun making this DIY Glitter Shoot!
Here's a little recap of what you will need:
1. Camera
2. Helper
3. Glitter
4. Aloe Vera Gel (You can make the consistency whatever you want, I used 6x 25gram bags of glitter and 1 x 250gram bottle of Aloe Vera Gel)
5. Tarp or Plastic Drop Cloth
6. Backdrop (DIY chairs and a blanket, or professional backdrop stand, material and claps)
7. Light source (You can use natural window lighting, cheap lights or professional lighting. I am using a window and a soft box that I bought on eBay for $30)
Optional - Thongs or old Christmas wrapping paper or something of that nature, that you can use to make a path for yourself to the bathroom once this is done (this will prevent your floors from getting dirty)
Once again I hoped this video helped you!! I would love to see your photos so please tag me on my instagram if you do this! My handle is @Maddie.Lullaby
Good luck and I'll see you guys next time!! (Which will be February because I'm on holidays for the rest of January!)

Great video , thanks for the share
cool😀
Thank you!!! :D
After applying the glitter , how long does it take to dry ?
I love the concept of the shoot! you should also improve on post processing side.
Thanks so much for your feedback!! I agree, and at the time I was struggling with the post processing side of it. I think its because I didn't have a clear vision on what I wanted the photos to look like at the end and through completing the whole process I realised I which style I would stick to for next time!
I made this video so people could feel as though they could do this themselves! And I made a variety of different edits at the end to work out what I liked and also so that people could see what they would want want to do with their images :)
I can definitely relate to that! rock that dream camera! I only started 4 years ago and got bit by the shutterbug, I hope to see your portfolio one day.
I think you meant " Here in Australia there is a lot of fools getting sun burnt ".
is the glitter hard to come off?
It just washes off.
