Congratulations on the weight loss! I'm down about 45 pounds in a year, so a similar journey to you! I do 90' of walking a day, roughly- doing a 10km walk most days, and just cut most of the crap from my diet, and it worked well. In terms of shoes, I go through a lot with all the walking, so I haven't found a really rugged one that will last more than about 3 months without wearing out.

Can you tell me what you specifically ate during these times? I want to start losing weight. I'm 220 pounds and am 6'2 and amd 20 years old. I just want to know specifically what to eat. Sandwiches? Not sure what I can really pack for lunch for my work and such, ect.
If yall havent tried it, racquetball is a fun cardio activity to play with your friends
For your jogs/runs you should swap out to the ultraboost 21. As a big dude myself the extra boost in it helps not to get as sore and it's a much better shoe than the older UB

I'd encourage you to lift in converse from now on. Having a flat-based shoe makes a huge difference when pressing or lifting weights

Devan please take this video down or re-do it. You are giving terrible advice here. At the end of the day all you gotta do to lose weight is eat less calories than you consume. Thats the essence of every weightloss journey.
Tell people that they have to calculate their BMR/RMR to get a baseline idea for what their bodies burn in energy per day then tell them to keep track of their calorie and food intake.
Yes exercise helps to raise the daily calorie expenditure but even that has to be accounted for properly. Just "working out" and "eating whatever you want" is not going to cut it for people. They wont see results.
Do not advertise CHEAT DAYS to people. "Eating whatever you want on a friday + saturday" can destroy an entire week or even 2 weeks of progress very easily and it does for most people.
Example:
Eat at a claorie deficit of 500 cal for 5 days. End up overeating 1500 calories on Fri/Sat each and end up with a calorie surplus of 500 anyway and gain weight.
I suggest you look up CZcamsrs like More Plates More Dates, Mario Tomic, Sean Nalewanyj, Greg Doucette and Jeremy Eithier for solid real fitness advice. You don't want to mislead and misinform your followers even if you just mean well. You can do a lot of harm.

@@DevanOnDeck You are just being irresponsible cause you have a large platform and reach. You literally call youself influencer and people are going to imitate you. You know this. Any health related content is just risky and there will be consequences. Don't be surprised when you have people crying in your inbox and calling you a fraud 3 months from now cause it "didn't work for them". Really think about what you are doing when you enter the space of fitness/health related content. Its not as subjective as fashion.
