WOW! One of the most profound things Jim Brown said in this interview is we cannot forgive our selves because we did not shed a drop of blood.. that ONLY JESUS can forgive sin.. This is the most freeing statement ever.. the pressure is off.. THANK YOU JESUS.

Praise Jesus Jim, I was blessed that my sponsor was a woman truly devoted to Jesus and the faith, so AA worked for me , step 3 handing my will over to the care of God and step 11 sought through prayer and meditation to Improve our conscious contact with God. AA brought me on a journey which for me journey of life and I will be learning until I die in A A it warns of hideous four horsemen, terror, bewilderment,frustration and despair I had all those but not today as Jesus shows a different way to live .He gave bill Wilson an awakening from his terror too as that programme is written by God's hand . I'm so happy to be in my faith and so happy too that recovery cost me nothing but to let go and ask God for help and go to a meeting ,be honest share with others and practice my faith... Good to hear your story . You and I think alike as I know no therapy would work for me as God is the therapist and that whole programme is God. I love, my Catholic faith, I Love AA and am so grateful that all that I have is free gift from God and if I don't give it away then Im not doing god's will as you said Jim we have to give it away to keep it.🙏🙏🙏.

Mary say I put on the mind of Christ on ( your sister). Then say prays intensionally with her heart 50x3 times daily using a rosary beads Thank u Jesus I have the mind of Christ and thru his stripes I am healed as the truth sets us free. At the end of each day say Thank u Jesus for that Divine exchange because u inherited for me bypassion death andresurrectionmy healing and salvation. I believe I receive ur healing..reflect on this then u are seated with God in heavenly places so its a done deal as u are seated with Jesus on the Mercy seat whuch authorises u to.partake of ur inheritance by belief and is earned/ bought by Jesus for you so persist praying the word given like taking medicine until results to conceive the fruit which is ur healing / deliverence and salvation.

I'm not sure about his philosophy regarding the saints and not being able to have a relationship with them as such once we get to know Jesus. It strikes me as a little made up and somewhat protestant. But perhaps there's an element to it where I see it as a good challenge as I need to deepen my own relationship specifically with Jesus.
I loved all of the interview up until this point, not totally convinced. Certainly St Louis de Monfort, St John Paul II, St Mother Teresa and St Maximilian Kolbe found that continually deepening their relationship with Mary was worthwhile and indeed necessary, and ultimately brought them closer to God. This is the role of the saints, not just to bring us to Jesus and then we forget about them. That's not Catholic teaching.
I had a little difficulty with some of that language too. Still he has the rosary in his hand at all times "holding the hand of Mary" as he put it.
@@majorpuggingtonYes that bit has puzzled me. I often ask the intercession of many of the Saints, but I think God understands that we are not praying TO them and instead just asking them to add their prayers to our own. They are in His Presence in Heaven after all, so can reach Him immediately. They don’t replace Him ever.
@@katperson7332 God has made us all one in Christ, so He is disappointed when we neglect our family in heaven right? If we are His and we are in Him, we need to be with eachother. Only impoverished forms of Christian life ignore our family in heaven and think our reliance on their intercession somehow offends God. That is flat out wrong.
Jim just wanted to say we need to develop a personal relationship with Christ. That is the center of the Catholic faith. Talk to Jesus like a friend about everything. Our Lady takes our hands to guide us to her son and to that relationship. Ok to ask Saints for intercession etc. but focal point is the friendship with Christ we should always 'work on' meaning let Christ speak through you, walk through you etc. if you do not know how. Ask the Holy Spirit for guidance.

The moment a woman stepped up and with unconsecrated hands started emulating the priest and touching the Eucharist and handing it to the laity on their hands, all reverence was gone for God and the Eucharist became a symbol, until the priest is the only Eucharistic minister and the Eucharist is placed on the tongue and the laity show reverence by kneeling before receiving the Eucharist the faith of the church is dead and we are no better than the Protestants.

I fully don't understand when Jim Brown says he wants to marry Jesus, and become the bride of Jesus, this is a very strange thing to say, Jesus was/is a man, James Brown is a man ?
You misunderstand the context, friend.
It is a spiritual marriage, whereby Jim makes the decision to devote his life and his very being to Jesus Christ.

@@Dienekes678 I have been a Catholic all my life, I have a priest in my family, I =have also been around many priests and nuns over the past 45 years I have never heard a man say he wants to Marry Jesus and those are the words that were spoken
GOD is male and He marries the bride, we all are His Bride. Jesus was male and that is why priests are and must be male in standing in for Jesus Christ to marry us.
What he is saying is that he wants to become one with Christ. metaphorically a marriage in the kingdom of God. God bless you Jim
My understanding is spiritual...we are spiritual being...our body is left behind...it's in spirit.
