My grandfather used to say "there not all locked up" and after watching this I can see what he means 😂😂Cheers K.
Wow that was a lot of information...and you did a wonderful way of explaining it...I am looking forward to your next video....❤❤❤
Hi Liam I bought this diesel heater on your recommendation. I didn't fit it straight away but when I did the diesel pump was faulty. I contacted maxspeedingrods and they were not in a position to help with the pump and suggested to purchase a new complete unit. I personally don't think this heater is any better than the Chinese heater you can buy from anyone at a better price. ( Just my opinion)
I love the channel and the content. Keep up the good work.
Best regards,
Paddy
A very polished promotion - for the strength of the wrapping paper - you will be in awe when you watch it back.
:)
Thanks for video, for sure a great value and quite clear instruction provided, but I got the E-11 code the second start... what sensor and where to order?
In fact loved it so much am getting one for my bungalow (the big boy) 😄
I don't have a van but with your delivery on air heaters I feel like I want one.......brilliant
Glad you like it!
Great information and video. Much appreciated. Have a 5kw unit with newer Bluetooth controller coming next week! Went with MaxPeedingRods because of higher quality accessory package they offer compared to the others. Plus includes tool kit. Simple units love the design on these and price. I am actually setting up in small workshop 20 by 10 ft. Will add insulation to shop over upcoming summer here in New England where low temps can hit on rare occasions down to minus 30F and typical winter temps average around 25-30F in January.
Another ace video! I have fitted a Chinese one in Betty and it works fine 😂
ive had one for over 6 months and they are terrific now..very easy to install.
They are great
My gas bill for last winter was 9 hundred quid so I definitely get why they are using them in houses . I hope they remember to vent properly though
Ordering the generator looking one tonight. Living in a caravan. Are they all the same bore with the hot air outlet ? Need to get tubes so I can run into a couple of rooms. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
This guy explains it all the best. Don’t waste time watching other people, he says it all here. Fit your heater.
Thanks
Great to see you so happy .

Bushfire season in Australia so we can’t use our backyard firepit… might have to get a shed air heater to put in the pit so we can be warm and fire safe. Your review was excellent. Would love to see more product reviews.
Sounds great!
Just this second bought this diesel heater thanks for the advice and entertainment. Only just found for Chanel and have now subscribed. Have you done a video on putting in bench seats with seat belts? Just trying to get my head around the best way to get nice comfy seats to travel on in my bus. Any advice on this bro?
I haven’t made a video about that but I bolted and welded them in
Top stuff Liam Its great you mention about those all in one heaters with the bottom exhaust area remaining non sealed ,its amazing how many people mount them inside ,in fact some mount the standard heaters on bases that are raised up so no seal at all !! its crazy !so so dangerous ,that red/black silicone gasket underneath has a reason its to seal the base to outside air , also the small black square seal on the heaters fuel entry pipe area is also vital to stop fumes ,and should be checked regularly for fatigue /brightness
👍🏼
I have the AIO system setup in a narrowboat, as it was far easier to set up. Concerned now though! What do you mean on bases that are raised up? and the red/black silicone gasket and the small black square seal?
@@Solid_Soup
As long as you properly vent EXHAUST outside for say shed application on exhaust and you have good seal on exhaust piping from where you connect to unit and to thimble you will be fine. These folks who run unit with exhaust going into garage with door cracked open looking for trouble.
The rectangle metal plate yes can be used on homemade stand, but EXHAUST MUST BE PIPED through a proper thimble to the outdoors in a safe manner and I would also wrap a bit of that high temp 2000F rated fiberglass tape on exhaust pipe to help keep heat away from fuel tubing bit more so any direct radiant heat stays away from fuel tubing near where it ties into base for added safety
Make sure you use proper thimble for wall and also make sure you keep a CO detector setup any time using combustion equipment some distance away from unit because they are sensitive. The metal panel is for proper seal on vehicle and actually best proper seal on a vehicle is one have seen posted that is round and goes into like a 4 inch cut circle whole in say a van bed, it seals easier to keep inside and outside air on vans and rv's separated easier than the rectangle only plate.
loved it bloke 👍👍
My mate as a favour fot some plastering work dumped all the fittings supplied and completely hard wired it with uk fittings popped it into a ally checker plate box and weve just come back from our third xmas in it never a scrap of trouble they are brilliant
Ps he fitted new ally pipe instead of the black stuff supplied
Great review. Would the mounted 5kw diesel heater heat a 20ft x 16ft summer house
Yes
L3 H2 Relay I'm currently converting, would you recommend 2kw or 5kw from them? I've insulated well but it has bonded windows and no bulkhead so assume 5kw would be a better option?
I always go with 5kw
Hi, good video, can I ask if that small 5 kW heater I’ve just ordered one of these and it’s been mounted underneath my Vw transport like my old van intake ducting. Where is this heater has a square intake how do I fit the round hose on that, square end, is there an adapter
Many thanks in advance 17:25
I’m not sure tbh
Bro, I bought one with the Bluetooth kinda based upon your recommendation. I really enjoy your channel BTW.
First one from Amazon came beat to F. The second one came somewhat less beat up but still, not new condition in my book. The app interface is rubbish and just me to you brother; I should have bought another Vevor and replaced the fuel line while installing a filter. True comment bro!
I fit these heaters to lots of vans without issue
What are the apps that work with these heaters?
Having nothing but trouble with my maxpeedingrods heater. The cheap unbranded one I use in my other van works perfectly. They're obviously paying you well 😂
So because you’re having issues with yours it means I must be paid to promote them? Weird
the only downside i can see is the square air intake which may hamper using it underslung? Is there a round end under that square grill so an intake hose could be fitted?
hi yes it is round as standard night heater
If the van building fails ! You can get a stall at the shows ! Selling vegetable slicers !
It’s looking likely
I keep wondering whether to install one in my caravan, what's your thoughts on it
Absolutely
@@LiamTheTerrible thanks buddy
Any idea how long delivery direct from Maxpeedingrods takes?
Usually a few days
So they have a mains connector on a low voltage device?! Bang!
They are good I have one, one in my van, one in my shed and one in my house. However they are all much the same at the same price point.
This one has Bluetooth and an app
@@LiamTheTerrible what's the range can I turn it on 200 metres away?
Looks interesting and thanks for the review. Would still spend the extra on a Webasto though😊.
You have a DREAM, dreams are free
You wouldn't happen to know where I could get another instruction manual. I've tried ringing but it's based in China.
Also could you recommend a invertor powerful enough to run a kettle and microwave. But must run off class A leasure batteries. Thanks
I’ll have a spare manual somewhere but it will be available online.
As for inverters, renogy are good
I tried the website but couldn't see anywhere to download a manual. Its more for error codes and being able to set a timer manually
Bravo👌👏 do you think there better than Bobil heaters?
Bobil don’t do heaters
Oh yeah only water heaters😂
That said I have a CO detector and I make sure the reading doesn't increase when running the heater.
👍🏼
Liam you seem frustrated/pissed off did the air heaters up set you keep up the good work
Never frustrated or pissed off
Can u fit under vwt5
Yup

Isn’t very Loud

Nice 👍
Thanks ✌
Hi liam, how much do you charge to fit one ?

the silencers are much better than befor and the remote is super easy.the pump is also alot quiter imo..
Plus the app makes it so much easier
yeh no getting out of bed to turn the thing up and down plus you can fire it up outside the van...and the altitude setting is great for leaving the heater on full time and using barely any fuel.@@LiamTheTerrible
super quiet.
hi mate can these be installed under a vw t5 drivers seat thanks
Liam can you do an idiots guide to fitting it?
I plan on doing very soon
my maxspeeding rods j diesel heater just packed up.i got it working briefly again.cleaned chamber and filter on glowplug renewed thermostat but now its not firing up.only had 1 winter
It’ll still be under warranty

@liamtheterrible
Would the Air heater you installing in your van, would that work in a vauxhall zafira that i converting to mini camper.
Would love to hear your thoughts on this idea.
Cheers 😂
Yes it will
@LiamTheTerrible
Awesome dude thank you 😊,
Keep up the great work you are smashing it
Not exactly QVC but informative all the same😁
Haha
My only gripe with them is you can’t dial it in to be as efficient as some other models.
Which models are more efficient please?
@@nickmarkham3327 some of the run of the mill 2k models with the older style controller which has altitude adjustment settings.

Hahaha yep
Dong splitter😂😂
Haha
😖😂
TERRIBLE LIAM TERRIBLE COLOUR 😎 why don’t they come with the Union Jack 🇬🇧 ey?!? But seriously just saw a guy installing the heater under the floor incapsulated in a tin steel box which he then insulated. I might do something like that, I just get seriously besurk if I smell diesel or diesel fume, even the smallest drop drives me crazy 🤪 Anyways like your video(s) also videos like this which you don’t do this a lot do you? Cheers, Albert 🇳🇱
Owh diesel heaters sorry is it gonna smel
Are these bs approved
Try buying spare parts ??
Amazon… eBay…. Easy really..
What is a "diesel eater" 😂

You don't seem to realize that literally hundreds of thousands of vans use any variation of those heaters. One is no safer then another. Only the packaging is different.
👍🏼
Installation is king
Some are MUCH better than others, and you certainly get what you pay for. I have Webasto coolant heaters in 3 diesel trucks, expensive but indestructible. I have a Planar portable heater, around here costs about $1900 Cdn. Years of service, never had an issue. Replaced the propane heater in my camper with a Planar, been out below -40 and quite content with it. Bought 2 Vevors cheap ($160 Cdn each), figured to have 1 for parts. Found soooo many things wrong with them, crap build, CO leaks, safety concerns, and they're not certified to be used in Canada so no fire insurance. I only use them outside when it's cold enough to have a tent over whatever I'm working on. Good air heaters aren't cheap, but I'll never buy another Chinese one, will spend the money for one I can trust at -40.
@@petergill2265 I’ve had Chinese ones last years without issue, I’ve know the big brands break down too.
Mate its a diesel heater whats the matter with you. When you get one that uses gas to heat is called a gas heater. Now you can be knit picking and call it a air heater that uses Diesel or a air heater that uses LPG
but to shorten it its called a diesel heater
Did you not see the title of the video?
you seam to be very knowledgeable about dongs hahaha
I’ve seen a few
it speaks in chinese .lol cant remember if it spoke in english..

why the hell are they using a Kettle lead plug, they have always been for 240 volts, not 12 volts this is just irresponsible by the manufacturer how long before someone plus in a 240 lead and ends up getting a shock of the unit. Just a very bad idea an XT90 Connector should have been used

Why are you so rough? Everything is banged and chucked around. I just don’t get it.
Sorry if I offended you.
I strongly do not recommend devices from this supplier.
Firstly, the devices are of very low quality. E 1 error code cannot be corrected on these devices. They sent me two devices and additionally two control units. None of the devices worked normally for even two months. Secondly, the support service is terrible. Not a customer-oriented salesperson. By purchasing their device, you may waste money and time and you will not be able to use the heating device in winter.
I’ve installed many of these without issues and have one in my own van that works great
@@LiamTheTerrible I have also been trying to use this device for two years. Same problem E 1. I'm not the only one who encountered this problem. You can find many reviews on the Internet where users have encountered a similar problem. The manufacturer itself admits this problem and sent me an upgraded control unit. However, the problem, although to a lesser extent, remains.
@vladimirpetrenko9041 my no e works great
