Hearing a rumbling "theres a spy creeping around here" from all the engies simultaneously is honestly terrifying to hear as a spy
i dont know if its my engi main brain but it makes me so angry seeing him destroy the sentries even if they are bots 💀💀💀💀💀💀

Lmao and people are really citing community servers anyway as some sort of "solution" to casual being unplayable rather than it being a different way to play entirely
@@b.w.s3165 oh and another thing, if you don't have *flawless* ping it auto-kicks you. So for most people, uncletopia is actually unplayable. Casual is manageable, people who say casual is unplayable just don't know how to deal with a few bots now and then. Switching to a class with more than 150 hp for a while isnt that hard.

The game mode is generally known as "engineer fortress" and it's some of my favorite community created content lmao
Solution: several spies berserk running in with red tape recorder, to keep the nest crippled
There's so many of them, though, that they repair them faster than you can cripple them
@@snoulguy even if it's just a few levels per mass-sap session that's still a big difference. Their dispensers will drain much more quickly this way as well, from all the re-upgrading needing to be done. Red-tape can de-level a large nest like this very quickly. Consistent pressure may stop them from rebuilding as well, as red tape resets any upgrade progress made on a building even if it doesn't successfully de-level it
@@snoulguy This is what the red tape was made for. You go in, delevel a few buildings, wash, rinse, repeat. Soon you have a bunch of level 1s instead of level 3s and it's a lot easier to go in as Demo and mop them up.

I played Uncle Topia once, before knowing who's Uncle Dane. I jumped in their hive mind with the YER, and I actually managed to do something.... Then I missed a swing, and I was at God's door

eeey it's the one thousand uncles server.
gotta say it was surprisingly fun playing with this (sans playing scout, sniper, spy, or pyro at all)
playing soldier with banners or demo lochnload gets you pretty far mostly
Dragon's Fury does insane damage on buildings since all of its attacks deal triple damage to them (as if they were on fire), so if you can get a DF pyro or two ubered in you can liquefy nests like this due to its infinite penetration.
Scottish resistance with base jumper to rain down a carpet of stickies tends to solve things quickly.

Yep engineer fortress. Always have a good time vs engineer bots. It also taught me that sentries can be cheesed with peaking, ledges and stuff.
It would be great if there were different danes for different engie playstyles
Classic Dane: Regular engineer
Turtle Dane: Sets up further back to prevent flanking
Sneaky Dane: Sets up at hiding spots to help tp more Danes
Offensive Dane: Gunslinger engies that are more aggressive
Support Dane: Like Classic Dane, but priorities helping other buildings and looking for spies
This requires strategic placements of snipers, demos, and one spy.

this is the most team that fortress has ever two'd
My favourite experience with this mode was helping 2 (human) engies get past the first point as demo and then we needed like another 3 people to join to get past the second point.

The trick to this is probably brass beast, with an engie supplying a dispenser, and you just fucking FRACK for damage.
