jungkook is known as the golden maknae of bts (golden youngest) hes the youngest member and hes good at everything. when i say everything i mean everything. sing, dance, rap, writes many songs, compose, plays many instruments, is good at every sport, is great at martial arts, loves boxing, can play any board game or video game and win, paints, draws, video edits, films, directs, photography etc literally anything you can think of he can probably do it. so naturally he chose Golden as his debut album name.

Jungkook is our "Golden" Maknae. He also has a production company called "Golden" Closet Films. JK was 13 when he joined the group. The 6 BTS members raised Jungkook. Jungkook is an amalgamation of all of the members of BTS. He's amazing! He's "GOLDEN!"

Probably called "Golden" because he is known as the "Golden Maknae" which means he is Good at Everything (RM coined the phrase to mean a Great All-Rounder), and the Youngest of BTS (Maknae is youngest brother I believe). I also can't wait for this one either. He sounds so good. Everyone - you Have to wear headphones to listen to this - there are so many background vocals and ad libs and such you won't want to miss!

As others have said, Jung Kook is known as the Golden Maknae (Ida S has a good video about that. You should react to it. She has a lot of really good JK videos). That's not the only reason though. He wrote a poem called Gold(en) that he read on one of the shows a while back. There is something about his mom dreaming about Golden rain, I think, when she was pregnant with him. I'm kind of thinking he said that in the poem, but I'd have to go back and listen to again to make sure, AND he said that this is a golden time in his life. These are the reasons he said he named the album Golden and it is the perfect title for him. :)
Because I am in CST the album will drop at 11:00 p.m. on Nov 2nd for me, which is my anniversary. Happy anniversary to me. :)

"Maknae" means younger brother or the youngest of the group, which in the case of BTS is Jung Kook. "Golden maknae" is the nickname RM gave him because he does everything well. JK chose this name for his album since his learning and experiences are summarized in that word that defines him.

Golden because Jungkook is the Golden Maknae - RM gave him the name because Jungkook is the Maknae which is youngest in Korean and Golden because he's good at everything and thats how the Golden Maknae name came abt. Jungkook is the Main vocalist, lead dancer, sub rapper and Centre of BTS since he was 15 yrs old - he is also incredibly athletic, artistic and really can do anything.
