Isn’t it wild that learning to say what the interviewer wants to hear is a whole skill that is disproportionately valuable for getting the job but is in no way necessary to be qualified for the job. Edit: Also congrats! 😊
Another extremely helpful mock interview! The most interesting part was about the handling a crisis, which was related with the most serious crisis of our era; Covid-19!. Excellent idea!

Hi Richard, thank you for all your videos uploaded. Excellent tips and its have built higher confidence threshold. After watching this video, my dilemma is that how do I know to what extend of information the interviewers are seeking by asking "Tell me about yourself?" If I were to asked, I will honestly tell them my full name, where I came from, my age, marital status(with or without children) and other basic information which mostly circle around me in person😂. It's like me trying to get comfortable with just the 1st gear😂

@@CareerVidz yes, but i found your video to be more targeted at a management role than a pure lead role, i m applying for lead programmer and so i wouldnt be involved much with things like looking for externals to hire, business decisions, talking to upper management, external clients, etc. but i have to go to a leadership interview anyway
the outsourcing answer is lowkey hilarious because if something like that were to happen, the company would probably then look into dusting the c19 employees and outsourcing their work longterm hahaha

This will depend on the interviewer, however I would suggest offering a hand shake :)
@@CareerVidz Thank you, I don't have an interview , just preparing I was Wendy's people have dropped out corporate America by 2017 and did a lot of volunteering for nonprofit so I'm thinking I was planning to go back to work before covid in 2020 so I just been doing consulting still working with nonprofits in volunteering my time and services

@@CareerVidz yes, but i found your video to be more targeted at a management role than a pure lead role, i m applying for lead programmer and so i wouldnt be involved much with things like looking for externals to hire, business decisions, talking to upper management, external clients, etc. but i have to go to a leadership interview anyway

You said do not talk bad about your previous organiztion. In my case, the firm closed by disagreement among the owners despite the team was working good. Can't I reply a question by mention this as a reason why I left my job
If the company closed and no longer exists, you can say that for sure, but I wouldn't pass blame in a negative way :)
