  • I didn't go into too much detail for the EGO itself, but to show how you can also achieve a lot of damage with tremor. Tremor - Everlasting is like a gambling skill. 99% of tremor user give up before Everlasting Faust does 12 tremor burst.

    As stated by another comment, the entanglement lasts the entire turn and continuously stacks conversions/entanglements until turn end. This does hilariously mean you could have increased the damage by throwing Oufi Heathcliff’s Tremor Decay into the mix.

    It's worth noting that in the wording of Amplitude Entanglement, it says that all further Amplitude Conversions later that turn will become Amplitude Entanglements. Assuming this is working as written (always dicey in a PM game), this means that yes, you can merge all current and future Tremor flavors so long as the first one you apply on your combo turn is an Entanglement instead of a Conversion. It also means there shouldn't be any issue with applying a second Entanglement after the first because for this mechanic to work at all Entanglement shouldn't have a limit, since the wording is "Conversions become Entanglements", not "Conversions also add to the Entanglement".
    Of course, this will always be limited by the Entanglement collapsing next turn (flavorful and balanced!) and the general scarcity of Amplitude effects - I can't see PM ever putting any form of this on anything more spammable than an S2 at absolute most since it's a "payoff" mechanic. I think everyone really likes the new direction for Tremor so we'll probably get more colors and ways to use it in the future. PM actually found a way to make the weakest standard status in the game fun and interesting by giving it something none of the others can do! Now, if only Charge Potency did... literally anything?

      Charge has been the forgotten child but I understand it difficult since it’s more a resource than an status effect. But the next event is warp train so I hope they will get further support soon.

      Praying that next event makes charge anything other than the "'refraction railway speedrun" status effect

      maybe they'll Amplitude Untanglement, that will work normal on every tremor like conversion, but on superposition it will overwrite it, so you can save your tremor effect for the next turn

      Yes, all entanglements do stack. This means that is theoretically optimal to set up fracture the turn before, entangle reverb, entangle decay, and then entangle everlasting for optimal damage.

      I fucking love this new Tremor direction so much. Not only is it absurdly powerful now, but it's creatively done (kinda) and really fun to use. I also kind of like the new keywords being thrown around, makes analysis comments like this sound much cooler (though I can see some people disliking it)
      One Tremor Type I'd love to see in the game would be a Type that adds a new stagger bar to the enemy, perhaps based on a chance. One issue Tremor's always had is that after the enemy runs out of stagger bars, the stagger threshold raise is kind of useless (though the current damage from Reverb more than makes up for that), but I'd like to see something along those lines. To make it so that it's not just an infinite stagger, perhaps it could also have a downside like also raising the stagger thresholds of the identities who burst the enemy's tremor

    One way to understand how it works:
    Entanglement-(Reverb) =gives tremor an ability to retain all special effects of color tremor at once for a turn, and then gives tremor a special effect of reverb.

    I wish, just once, these Tremor showcase videos were not played in mirror dungeon. Why not fight actual Nelly? Like, without all the EGO gifts? Why not fight Erlking or something?

    • @Ainz579
      @Ainz579  Před 2 měsíci +17

      Cause people like to see big numbers, also I’m multitasking as I’m doing MD runs to get more event drops. Nelly just happened to be my test dummy since she has a lot of heath and no multiple phases.

    • @thestonemason7413
      @thestonemason7413 Před 2 měsíci +13

      If they don’t do it in the mirror dungeon, then they don’t have the resources for all the EGO, Atleast, not to start.

    • @yunomi9023
      @yunomi9023 Před 2 měsíci +1

      You gonna spent a lot of time to stack tremor to 99, lot of ego resource to farm just for one showcase
      This vid purpose is not to just show off tremor, but also to explain the mechanic behind it so MD is faster
      And also if you have experience enough of this game, looking at this you should be able to imagine how it work on erlking because it has the same principle

    • @ambergaleroar2476
      @ambergaleroar2476 Před 2 měsíci

      Stacking statuses in normal fights takes too long and the boss might be dead by then.
      Bosses like erlking and whatnot also has seperate phases so if you trigger phase change then you cant see more dmg

  • @eleazarvaulter5083
    @eleazarvaulter5083 Před 2 měsíci +3

    You are literally doing it wrong lool
    You must use reverb the turn before not the same one you use everlasting then everlasting goes first and everyone can benefit without doing boring resonance only full burst with the rest

    • @Ainz579
      @Ainz579  Před 2 měsíci +10

      Not entirely sure what you mean but I did apply reverb by cavernous wailing turn 1 and then turn 2 I use Everlasting EGO. The problem is that Regret Faust is quite slow so you usually get like 1 or 2 units that can benefit from it. It’s is better to do it on separate turns as it gives you more time to stack tremor. But if you give Faust two skill slots she can use her S3 right after which you can get a lot out of extra damage before it reverts back to normal tremor.

    • @warmwater9509
      @warmwater9509 Před 2 měsíci +1

      @@Ainz579 he's trying to say that you should have reverb set up the turn before, then try to have the first skill used be faust. I think Everlasting's passive might help with getting that, but given that it kind of just kills things before you can even have a next turn to set up the passive it's not that useful
