- The most recent class addition to Orna and Hero of Aethric is the Summoner Class line, starting at tier 7 where you need to complete a quest for Horus NPC to unlock the Attuner class for free! In this video we go through the skills and abilities learned from each summoner class from tier 7 to tier 10, and also touch on typical gear set ups and which summons you'll want to use most of the time.
Bear in mind a lot of good summoner gear is locked behind events that do not feature in this video. As usual for more in-depth advice please visit the Orna Legends discord linked below where there's plenty of experienced summoners available to answer your specific questions.

PSA to all new attuners/summoners:
The halloween event summons that were available in October will be available at Arcanists again, December 24-26, during the Friends and Family event.
If you can, it's highly recommended to pick any of the summons you're high enough level to buy. VSS in particular is a must-have summon.
These summons are:
Tier 8: Onryo, Very Scary Skeleton
Tier 9: Hati, Spooky Ghost
Tier 10: Scarecrow

Guivre is a must in tier 9 since it's the only summon to damage mighty mimics. It does have 11 different attacks, but it's something if you don't have the magic stat for bloodpact. If you missed the event Hati

Colossus summon also damages mighty mimic with blast/drain. I actually prefer Colossus over Guivre against mighty mimics because of the ability to heal itself, plus it has less skills to cycle through.

@@Marc4360 get the second winds amity, all your summons will heal themselves for a good percentage and per critical hit they land, which happens way more often than you think. My summons survivability is above average.

Even just a simple amity like that can make your life much smoother, you could potentially end up using that for many many levels into tier 10 as well - on my main Orna character when i'm doing horde party dungeon carries i need mana regen amity :)
@@Shabbash Aye, can't see myself replacing it anytime soon, unless I get a more powerful one. Also it would be nice if the game had a Mage pet that would cast a MP regen spell on you, like refresh from the Final fantasy series. Keep up the great work đđ€

T8 should have farmed celestial moon drops and farmed the titan ophion for Ophion's Banner, and old Olympia Headdress, Mantle, and Legwraps. All have ward and boost summon stats. Full set dedicated to this class line.
Yeah the thing is that is event gear which as I said would not be covered in this starter video. You're completely right of course it's great gear for summoner, hopefully most of the future events also have summoner gear available in sure they will đ

My problem is that Horus showed up as one of the first npcs on my new slot, and coming back to the same area with the required class and tier, I can't find him anymore even with inn spamming and looking around. Idk where this guy went, apparently doesn't want me to become a summoner xD
@@kryptyca3201 yeah NPCs do rotate every few weeks - easiest would be to find someone who has Horus at a wayvessel then you can simply port over :)

Great guide - love your videos so far - would you mind to do a beast guide? like what stats affect the strenght of my pets, what gear should i get - and stuff like that? also if its worth to get certain buffs to surive longer and get more time for my pet to kill the enemys etc.

Hello may I know if I pick sequelencer in tier 9 with summoner tier 9 ,how I survive without appease skill or I just need add some ward skill if I using that second class thanks
Hey there, yeah you're thinking correctly sequencer lacks defensive mechanics of appease and even ward because you're not gonna be wearing a shield... It is a glass cannon depending mainly on summon protect chance only. Charmer is much safer spec but see what you like! đ
How much are all the tiers of the summoner class? Also is chronomancer or charmer best?
I just realise that I have only the attuner at tier 7 and no other (grand attuner) at tier 8 or 9. Do you have an idea what is happening?? Thanks!
You have to select the summoner class for the higher tier classes to appear for unlock I think.
never did a full party guantlet since im gs, anyone can confirm if u have at least 2 summons to survive or ur by yourself?
Full party with 4 members will only allow you 1 summon

What are your thoughts on the Benefactor specialization?
I think you misunderstood the Appease 2 skill of Bard. It says, "When battling with your party", isn't there a mechanic where your party member can enter your battle and help you through the fight? I think that's what the skill is meant to be used. The instances where your summons receive the damage for you is the Attuner's passive acting. Or am I wrong?

Summoner class line is exceptionally strong for levelling up to t10
I'm kinda curious about the summoner class. Right now I'm a T9 Baha tamer, but in my grinding I have all 3 of the grand attuner gear (hood, robe, shoes) and I have Charon's shadow staff. I also did the quest for the Omega Riftlock. I thought I might have the gear (and the orns) to switch over and try it. I haven't hit T10 yet, is there a summoner set above grand attuner, and if so what mats do you use to upgrade? Kinda thinking of switching but don't want to hinder myself.
there is a tier 10 summoner set yes, although not much used once people start getting event gear. summoner is similar to valhallan build, very easy to level up with without decent gear. Arguably summoner stronger of the 2 class lines overall

What do you recommend for adornments for your summoners weapon?
Peace to you my friend. Ideally you would use soul of Charon but this is event items from Riftfall, so will have to wait for that to return. In meantime probably anything that gives ward as a start > mag so mammon tears etc.
Hey! which staff do you think is better for this build, archistaff or the black witch staff?
Hey there, I would use what has higher quality for more exp. If you have both same quality then use what gives more magic, it will probably be archistaff because it gives preferred weapon bonus (+5% offensive stats) đ

Hi Piotr, yes they are definitely good raiders, you have time to summon your beefiest multi turn summons and buff them all. Just have to survive as much as you can in the beginning.

@@Shabbash Another doubt I have is that I was lucky enough to get a pair of Legendary accessories "CHARM DO DRAGOON LENDARIO" and it says: Follower Attributes 5% and Follower Action 2%. Does this apply to summons or only to Valhalla classes?! Can you tell?

Can i be summoner even I'm currently on thief class line (now t6) ? If yes, is it worth it or its better to restart from mage class line?
Hi Nodi yes you can go straight to Attuner at t7 there are no prerequisites, only need to complete the Horus quest. I would recommend picking up Druid class for buff skills đ

Hey there, those kingdom raids are already in Aethric! Kingdoms have to level up to unlock them, currently takes 15 kingdom quests to level up once. Wars will not be in Aethric according to the devs..

Hi Shabbash! May I know for summoner, which faction should I join?
Hey Jason, faction only affects a couple things; most importantly you can only join kingdom (guild) within same faction so if you have friends for example and want to be in same kingdom you need to be same faction. Second thing is you get +25% bonus dmg doing element dmg same as your faction, you also take 25% less dmg from same element. You can also always change faction in runeshop for a dollar. đ
I'm hopeful to find an Arcanist when the Followers are added in the upcoming event. I need the VSS. Just dinged level 195 and am Orn poor for the Level 200 class Upgrade, but hopeful to get that DPS boost!
When u say "find an arcanist" u mean find the spell in an arcanist shop ?

What's the prerequisite class for attuner?
Hi Shabbash, can you make guide to orns farming? I'm an attuner lvl 194 and farming in t8, I made some not very good decision, I unlocked majistrate, arcanist, dragon knight, which cost close to 10m (I should be able to be a summoner by then). I'm now very behind in orns compared to my lvl, can you give me some advice? Many thanks!
Hey Luthfi, haha don't worry too much about all the class unlocks! In the end we generally all unlock everything anyway đ so I will be making an orns farming video yes but for now some quick tips as attuner: farm a reapers robe from Ankou, at least legendary quality. Also a Mimic King head or lost helmet, you can even find a standard Mimic King head and then lvl it in blacksmith to 10 and masterforge it, this will give you +34% Orns. For t8 this is your goal. For t9 look for Questing staff, normal quality is fine and MF it.
Do memory hunts they also give lots of orns. With oracle temple and Athantia temple you can get up to 2 Diluted mnemonics every day you should do these daily if you can. Make sure your origin town temple is lvl 10 đ
@@Shabbash Yes haha, I already got ornate reapers robe and mimic king head, also 2 ornate cursed monster tome for farming, just lack a few stuff tho, questing weapon and orcle temple, can't build it yet because my main quest still at seekers mara, I'll make sure to do that. @@luthfimaulana7484 OK nice! Actually build oracle temple is a side quest! First you need to do Galar side quest in Vinland, easy one just put 5 lvl 1 items in blacksmith for an hour, then Pythia will appear in Athantia, its side quest only đđ

Hi Juanjo Tur, by mainly doing party boss dungeons, either with friends or most of the time with alts (t8 part boss is the best for keys)

hey there, are you playing Aethric? There's a chance he appears every day somewhere new at 00:00 local time, can ask at inns for more information - keep an eye out in Aethric discord as well because there's loads of people trying to find him and the location should be similar for evevryone.

@@-deadbydaylightgaming-2189 NPCs in Orna are randomly located in the world, you can travel around and usually see at least 3 or 4 on screen at any time, some locations have way more. Easiest way to find Horus is to ask in discord, someone will have a wayvessel with a Horus there that you can visit and immediately talk to.
What a day to watch this vid, I just reached 149 today xDDD... Question, compared with tamer/Dragon line... is faster for lvl? is it balanced? Also how the summons damage works? a % from your magic? So is better t use dual weapon or weap/shield? Is better to have the class gear than the luck/orn gear? :x (another question, presents from the event...is better to open them on xmas or it doesn't matter?

Hey Ghozto, almost t7 very nice! Compared to tamer line I would say they are both very strong to level with because both can wear full farm gear and still do dmg from oet/summons, if you're doing mainly world boss farm probably tamer line is faster, if you're doing mainly dungeons and raiding I'd say summoner is faster. Some gear has +increased summon stats like the hydra staff, if you duel wield 2 of them they stack for more summon dmg. If you need more survival then use shield.

Hi mate! Ah back to Orna OK well yeah Nyx is a beast, if you're gonna consider changing you better try Attuner at t7 as it's free and the playstyle is different, check if you like or not...

Not until the event returns. I think NF will introduce more event summons in the future also
t8 just got grand attuner i was nekromancer i prefer summon build for dungeons and switch to nekro if i am farming the world since it's easier to 1 shot t8 mobs with sorrow 2 + pet technically 2 shots since i need 2 turns killing with summons is ez too but i am just trying to efficient since it takes less time

@@ericccccccccc OK my experience I haven't actually tried summoner all the way to t10 yet đ I got t10 world first in Aethric with pet class line to Beowulf đ beastmaster spec at t7 then tamer at t9. Pets from t7 onwards are Arcane Slime, Living Hammer /sword etc, Crimson Gazer or Nidhogg đ

Golem Fortitude definitely an option yes, especially if you've levelled up your gear.

What is the priority as far as avoiding being targeted goes as far as when to cast appeaseII? Should i prioritize summons first? How many before i cast appease, etc? I feel like i either get them all out with appease and destroy or get 1 short so im curious how to appoach the earlier turns at each tier to maximize survivability..

So check the Aethric discord they have people checking for him everyday and yes he'll be in the same place for everyone that day if he's actually around. Check inns for information daily if you're not on discord.

Does summon stats affect your summons over all damage? Does Attack or magic affect summon damage?
Summon stats is the only stat that affects your summons and yes it affects their damage. Your own personal att/mag stats doesn't affect them, however if you buff them in battle with att/mag up that does boost them
@Shabbash that's what I figured thabk you for the swift response, also another great weapon that drops from apolleon gives T. 3X up magic att, and attack up, I know it has no summon stats on it, but that can be distributed to your summons. #Sempre Forte.
