Because it is embossed…no cutting edge there
The die doesn’t cut out the centers of the L and O. It just embosses it

Agreed. I'm really glad for this video that shows those bits don't come out. I was tempted to buy this and would have been really disappointed. GREAT idea with the folder/die combo...just a bit off in the details. The embossing of those centre bits isn't enough for me. Grateful for this detailed video! Thanks, Connie!❤

Hi Connie, I too love these cards. I was curious if you could use the heat gun, not enough to distort the foam, to dry the ink?
I don't know. You might try a little scrap and see how it works.

I don't understand why you would use the same sentiment on the outside of the card then again on the inside, just wondering why.
Maybe for the sake of the video it was just easier to use.

It was so bold and fun but you are welcome to change up your card.
I save the negative from all of the craft foam that I use. You can use that instead of the expensive foam pieces. And it isn’t as thick, which makes it better for cards that are going to be mailed. Just cut the pieces to whatever size you need.

Just checking, are you saying that when you color craft foam that you have to wipe off the excess ink or it will come off onto fingers, etc. For example, what if I prefer the darker color on it, can it be heat dried to make it stay? Also, in the beginning when you cut the foam sheet, you stated that you scored it, so did you use the cut blade or the score blade? Thank you!!
Yes, you will want to remove the ink that is just sitting on top. The ink that is left is basically the staining.
Sorry about the confusion but yes, cutting blade is what I used and it doesn’t cut all the way so it just sort of scores it and then you can ’tear’ it apart.

The dies only cuts the outline and the embossing folder embosses it
