How is Dima not called up on his tomahawk serve? That's crazy illegal
At this point people don’t know the difference between illegal and a weird looking serve
@grigorejomiru8820 it's not a weird serve though, the ball moves from one side of the table to the other
Might be the camera angle but i see those kinds of throws all the time on higher TT and nobody raises an eyebrow so it’s alright
@grigorejomiru8820 as do I and they're all illegal, for some reason the refs don't call it, the ball should be thrown up as close to vertical as possible, Dima doesn't do this

Dima’s tomahawk serves have always been sus but he’s not even TRYING to make it legal 🤣 unreal
The serving rule says that the ball must be thrown up as near as vertical as possible, Ovtcharov's serve as seen is not anywhere near vertical! Why the umpire does not pull him up I don't know. Breaking rules in table tennis goes from local league players right up to pros. It seems that those who can get away with it do.
I have never seen Ovtcharov doing nso many serves this blatantly illegal. Seems they had a blind ref.
