The King's Indian Defense is one of the most popular openings ever because it is extremely dynamic and allows black chances to fight aggressively for the win against 1. d4. Grandmaster Eugene Perelshteyn has been playing the King's Indian Defense for nearly 20 years and in the below chess video excerpt from the chess DVD ¨The King's Indian Defense 6. ...Na6 System¨ he explains his intimate knowledge of this complicated opening system, specifically focusing on a very interesting sideline that has recently risen to extreme popularity - diverging from the main lines with 6. ...Na6. In this introductory video from the chess DVD, GM Perelshteyn demonstrates the main ideas of this variation with special emphasis placed on the thematic maneuvers and breaks for black. Although many variations and concepts of the 6. ...Na6 system are very similar to the main lines of the King's Indian Defense, GM Perelshteyn is quick to point out the differences and advantages offered by this sideline. In the following chess video excerpt from the chess DVD ¨The King's Indian Defense 6. ...Na6 System¨ Grandmaster Eugene Perelshteyn will introduce the main concepts of this effective sideline and how you can begin playing it with great success against 1. d4.

Eugene is the clearest chess instructor out there.
Very good video. I learned this opening for tournament in just 15 mins.
I don't think we've got any youtube videos currently lined up on the King's Indian Defense, but I would be glad to give you a 50% coupon for the 3+ hour DVD in our online shop - just shoot me a personal message if interested. Cheers, Will
Wow this was so informative to me. It solved my b8 knight problem.
We keep finding resources everywhere! That's part of the beauty of chess!
I like this oldschool graphics a lot
Happy Birthday to GM Eugene Perelshteyn sir
This guy has some of the best tutorial vids! Thanks
Great explanation .....thank you so much sir🙏👌👌
Thanks for watching
I have this "DVD" (it's a download actually) in a multi-author King's Indian Bundle for 50 USD. It's both very clear and elaborate. The only complaint I could have is that I liked to see a few more middle game motifs (long term goals). A conclusion such as "Black has no problems here" isn't very helpful for the club player. Other than that, if you're into KID then this 10 bucks is a best buy.
Yes! GM Perelshteyn covers all the main lines in his 2.5 hour DVD on the topic in our online store at onlinechesslessonsDOTnetSLASHshop - use coupon code youtube30 for a 30% off discount - Cheers, Will
Great Lecture !
Thanks!
Love Na6 so logical..
Thanks!
you can still answer the early d5 push with an immediate ..Na6-Nc5, gaining time by hitting e4 so you can play ..a5 and cement the knight on c5. Cheers!
very nice. it helped me so much :) i will search on your channel the c5 variation insted of e5. Ty again
true - however this Bd3 line also gives black a very attractive option to play ..Bg4 in many variations
Great video thanks!
Hey Eugene, I've seen some of your work on the chesslecture site too. Cool Na6 idea!
yep - you can take the knight there, it leads to a different type of game
quarto
Hi Eugene. Thanks for a great lesson! If I may ask a personal question, how old were you when you came to the US?
what is e4 d4 by white it kinda neutralize the nf6
Great video, I love chess but I think I'll never be able to play it good :D Keep it up:)
Wow, nice!
Roman was right. You are a great player and teacher
I wanna buy this vid, but is this vid including another white's set up? For example not classical variation but samisch or fianchetto or avebach or 5.h3 or 5.bg5 or 5.bd3 and so on
Where can I purchase this series?
Can you play king Indian defense with White?
Try the King's Indian Attack!
i want to buy this dvd but i have a few questions first: is your dvd cover completly the kings indian defense? and is the KID is a unibarsul system agaist d4 c4 and such?
for tech issues contact daniela@onlinechesslessons.net thanks
τεταρτος
Very helpful video, I have just a question in the first line with the take in e5 and the queens exchange: what if white plays Bf3 before Bg5 hindering Rxe2 ? Is f5 correct ? or may be better Kg7 and later c6 to protect b7 ?
harparkrat1 If Bf3? White loses a piece after Nxc3
OnlineChessLessons.NET There is no knght on c3.I mean after 7 0-0 e5 8 dxe5 dxe5 9 Qxd8 Rxd8 10 Nxe5 Nxe4 11 Nxe4 Bxe5 12 Bf3. What is better now Kg7 or f5 ?
harparkrat1 Now Bg5 is a real threat because there is no bishop in e2 and Re8 does not work. Additionally black LS bishop is linked to defend b7.
harparkrat1 ah ok, Three possible moves. ...,f6 ...,Kg7 and ...,Re8. Kg7 seems the more solid. But ...,Re8 seems also ok, because avoids white to develop his bishop.
Does the content of the CD come in iPad format?
The course includes standard H.264, .mp4 files and are compatible with all PC and MAC devices.
no music pls

Can't watch. Too creepy.
