I love how genderbent danny’s dad isn’t forcefully slimmed, she’s actually a similar build and the mums genderbend is still a thinner man👌👌 (this is just amazing the amazingly fresh animation and how awesome it is to see a non sexualised genderbend, as well as like I said about the parents being allowed to be their body types without having them changed)
Well, she's a little slimmer, but I have seen so many gender bends where they turn the thick guy into a stick thin hourglass woman this is a nice change of pace.

why would you put this in the hands of a company that has restricted imagination? These movies are nothing compared to the comics and the true grit of the character hasn’t been shown since the last X-Men movie/Endgame.

There’s some characters in fiction who work genderbended and some who don’t. Danny Phantom is a character that does work. Amazing and clean fan-animation.

Slight lyrical correction, the line "disappear and fly" in the original is meant to rhyme a bit with "other guys" (and "glowing green eyes").
Alternatively you can make the lyrics into (replacing part from the "he could walk through walls" up to the "other guys" lyrics)

As someone who watched the original show for YEARS, the amount of work, effort, and accuracy put into this is just amazing. If you did not tell me that it was a fan animation in the title, or used the original theme in the background I would have thought that this was from Nickelodeon themselves. Truly fantastic work.

It’s utterly scary and jaw-dropping how this was made by a fan. This legit looks like an official Nickelodeon production.
This is insane, this animation are really smooth and you can feel the 2000's animation.
I am absolutely awestruck by how perfect this opening was made. Not only having it be so perfectly similar to the style of the original show, but also keeping up with the pacing as well. You're a very talented animator!
This is so beautiful. It’s not just a testament to how Danny would look as a girl but also inspiration for what Dani may well look like when she gets older. I really wish they chose to reboot or continue the series in an all new cartoon. While the comic that’s coming out looks good I’d also love to see the ideas that Butch Hartman had for them ten years later.
I hope you’re very proud of the work you accomplished here. This animation is phenomenally accurate to the real Danny Phantom. Job well done!

i think it would even be cooler (and appropriate with the current "pride" trend), to have a reboot where Danny is still the protagonist but he can "shift" into a girl to protect his identity, it would make way more sense than just changing his hair and eye color.

How is the outline so cartoon accurate? Everything including the movements is very well animated. Now I fell in love with Dani Phantom 🫠

Holy mother of specters...look at how smooth the animation is? The key frames number in the dozens, and there must be hundreds of in betweens, with the matching lines and framerates to the original, and even the filmography techniques to add the right lighting to each scene, creating the sharp contrast in designs the shows was known for.
The fact that you redesigned all four human character, and kept the recognizable as who they were is awesome too. Love fem-Dash(Dashi?), giving her a 'cheerleader' body that mimic's Dash's original Quarterback Physique in a different way. And just matching it to the song so perfectly must have taken an hour.
This, my good animator, is a thing of true beauty. Thank you for sharing it with us.
For some reason, I'd imagine Dash's genderbent counterpart being named Diane. Is that weird?
@@Enter_the_Toshiverse_1996 Eh, it took me a second to remember this was for this video and not a pony one, so my first thought was Blitz...Rainbow Dash's gender bent counterpart is Rainbow Blitz.
That said, I can see Diane being it, I want with Dashi simply because of the Danny/Dani thing that is canon to the series.

Jackeline is a stocky lass, with big wide shoulders, and a bit of a gut on her, but looks quite strong, giving her a good profile, and not simply making her look like Jack in drag.
Meanwhile Mad-Eye...Markus? Anyway the Dani's blue parental unit is still tall, and doesn't look weak at all, the build and stance used still say this is a strong person, though probably not able to pick up a car like Jack can. In fact, that look kind of like a member of the Fantastic Four...which Dani looks like too, which is why Sam will eventually give her a Logo to slap on the front.

One thing that I really love about this is the way that you didn't change Danny's outfits to be more traditionally feminine. A lot of gender-bends do that, and it's a real breath of fresh air to see an artist who doesn't. Love it!

My favorite example of that trope is lethal cutie Terry bogart from king of fighters. It's. Cannon and batshit crazy. Girl Terry has the sexy cute trope with no muscles, but us male Terry turned female in universe
Except not, it's old man Terry mind transfered into his alternate dimension self meaning old man Terry displaced fem Terry's mind. Oh but it gets better. By the end of the game old man Terry has settled into his new body and now act more traditionally feminine

I cant believe how good that looks
I had to go frame by frame to realize that she made Dash fall by turning the locker door intangible instead of how Danny usually flies out and shoves him into it in the opening.
I think Nickelodeon fired the wrong animator because this was astounding! Not only is it in High Definition, but it stayed true to the original! I also love the idea of Dani being the main character, and instead of Paulina being the 'jock', it's just another cheerleader. Excellent work!

What pisses me off is his reactions to people taking offence to his beliefs.
He has the right to them no matter how wrong they are, because of America, freedom of speech and all that jazz.
But when questioned and asked for clarification to defend himself he ignores the question or spins it in a way that he can answer without giving a full answer.
I think that's what people like him don't understand, it's not the opinions that piss us off it's how they present those opinions.
People like butch would back up any homophobic beliefs to the bible, if you use the rebuttal the fact that the bible says don't push your faith on other people, nor let it cloud your judgement they either insult you or don't answer.
Also saying that the ten commandments also says to obey the laws of Man and that discrimination against the LGBT community is a law and therefore must be obeyed makes them angry beyond belief.
I'm not asking for religious folks to give up on their crusade to "clean us of our unholy lifestyle". That's a lost cause, all I want is for them not to pick and choose what parts of the bible to listen to and enforce.
It's either all or nothing, and this isn't coming from my projection of the bible this is coming from Jesus himself, the same people who killed him picked out the parts of the bible they wanted to believe and wanted to enforce.
Jesus if you believe that he was the son of god, wanted to make clear that every word of the bible is to be followed and is to be enforced.
I am both bisexual and a believer in Jesus Christ. I know that my same-sex attraction is not a sin, because I am made in the lord's image and he doesn't make mistakes if I wasn't meant to be bisexual then I wouldn't be.
Butch is a smart guy he's just made a few decisions that shot himself in the foot, he honestly should have kept his lips shut, being someone of fame and expressing your political or religious beliefs is going to cause problems.
I hope that butch will learn to see that but I am an optimistic person so there's a chance that hope is wasted and that he'll never see why so many people walked away from him.

@@Geo_TV Not to mention he legally can't touch Danny Phantom anyway. Most people don't know this because it requires having knowledge of the animation industry, but Butch Hartman actually doesn't own Danny Phantom.
Nickelodeon holds the copyright to the IP and everything associated with it, so even if Butch Hartman wanted to do anything further with the franchise, he can't because he doesn't own it anymore.
When you sign with a television company like Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network to have your show produced, you sign away all copyright and licensing to it so the company owns it.
Ordinarily this is a bad thing because it leads to terrible stuff like Cartoon Network making Powerpuff Girls 2016 and no matter how bad or hated of a reboot it is, the original creator Craig McCracken can't do anything to stop Cartoon Network from doing it.
But in terms of Danny Phantom, I think it's best if Butch Hartman has nothing to do with it from now on because I don't want a show I loved growing up getting tainted by his poisonous ideas and biases!

I love the detail of Dani escaping from the locker, in the original version Danny escapes and puts the bully in the locker just like his good but somewhat mischievous personality, but in this female version you have shown her as a sweetheart that does not seek to do harm, at least not directly, I like that because it gives this character her own personality, it makes you wish there was an episode where Danny arrives in another dimension where everyone is of the opposite gender

I can't imagine what that would be like making the whole thing alone. Even with the original to reference/trace?, that's not easy stuff. What would you say was the hardest part of making this animation?
Thank you! I did it on my own in 2 months. The hardest part was replicating the camera movement, the effects and the ghosts that come out of the portal. n.n

Definitely awesome. It looks so fluid and clean, and I like the some of the touch ups like when "Dani" is pushed in the locker by the genderbent Dash while staying faithful to the original. Amazing work!

I would accept a reboot only if it was this genderbent version. She can still be Danny, but instead we'd get stuff from a teen girl perspective of school. This animation is just so smooth and the art style is spot on.
A reboot set in a parallel universe would rock! Plus have the original Danny Phantom appear in a crossover episode would be cool and refreshing.

Remarkable to see how well this iconic style of animation can live on! This style of hard lines and bold, garish colours is what drew me to shows like FOP, Dexter's Lab, PPG, and Kim Possible. It's beautiful to see the aesthetic so faithfully recreated; I hope to see a rebirth of such stylised animation in modern animated tv.

I love the detail of her exposed midriff transitioning perfectly into the grey when she transforms. It gives her human design a closer parallel to the ghost design in very satisfying way.
