Lyrically, visually one of his best. It also fills so many of the storylines in the journey.

NF is unique and creative and he’s absolutely an Amazing Artist. I was born in 65’ and seen so many Artists and I’ve heard many rappers but NF is Elite. Fun fact: the quiet backwards line in the opening for the song "Clouds" is the line from outcast "My head's in the clouds" reversed and at the end he says "I aint gotta say it, they know where my head is."
Not only does he not say bitch, he never uses curse words.
He's still an Outcast when it comes to mainstream Hip Hop. His whole song Clouds is a metaphor about him dropping in on the industry unexpectedly and uninvited, but they can't stop him. He also mentions it in "Why" when he says he is crashing the party uninvited.
You caught on to the clouds reference. Combine that with the line "I'm not a fortune teller but I can see into the future better" + the hook "I'm high off the music my heads in the clouds, I kinda like it up here I'm not coming down" - He already had Clouds blueprint way back in this album.
Well this song actually as so many layers to it. Because of how he uses this to tie so much of his music together, it represents all aspects of his music. And so even in the future references to it he proves it is also refers to self trapped mentally. So as an NF fan it represents the rap and music industry, outcast as a Christian, outcast as a person now and because of the abuse and rejection when he was younger, outcast because of details he specifically explained in the song, outcast because of his moral views (that would also tie into politics but he obviously never get political but politics is morals especially these days), and you get the idea, more stuff like that. And ill explain the outcast of being a Christian which is what I actually took the most out of this song the first time I heard it because this was the first song from him I heard. The album dropped the same Day as Lecrae's album. So I was checking out Lecrae's new album and all the comments where going crazy that NF and Lecrae dropped on the same day. So I was like ok they have a huge overlap in their fan bases. So I listen to Outcast first and I took away the hidden meaning that as chirstans we are not of this world. We are dead to this world. And I can tell from this Moments and I'm Free albums that he completely intended this meaning too. And even though he gets out of the cage in the emotionally depressed and under dog way he is obviously still in the cage in every other way.
I mean I could be kinda wrong, because he is out of his cage with the map to Hope and that is obviously the Bible but he is saying that in a completely different way to drag all the secular people into it also. Which is super smart of him. And I keep praying for him and this dragged out hidden Gospel Message he is putting into his discography.
