Followed this step by step and everything went perfectly! Only thing I’d recommend is actually telling people what size the bolts are and etc. either way it worked out. 🎉
This is the best F10 m5 catless downpipe installation video I have seen on CZcams .Very modest and simple real to life work around issues with give me the confidence to do mine .Thanks for the well put together video. I love the sound of the modified exhaust even before the downpipe installation. Plz let me know what was don to your exhaust system I would definitely live to do the same to mine . Thanks again.
A question regarding the heat wraps, I looked online and had multiple sources state that a silicone heat spray was needed on top of the heat wrap in order to prevent rust, corrosion of the downpipe? Anyone have any insight towards this claim?
If you're leaving the MAF's unplugged then you don't need to cut the factory air box, do you? You can just take it out all together and start your custom intake at the turbo inlet pipe.
@@MBTVTIME Possible daily and I could afford either, but I will be moving soon and I am not sure what state yet so it's hard to tell what the roads I will be driving on will be like. Guess I just gotta figure that out.
@@HunchoArdit if you mean the ones that latch to the downpipes there are 4 total , two on each pipe , they are 11mm nuts , you should also replaced those gaskets
I have the same issue with my fitment I started it up before I put the heat shield and it was leaking I don’t know if you had any problems later on in life but I’m afraid to leave it like that 😬
It ended up not working . Then bought BMS intakes . That was a huge mistake and waste of money . The stock intakes with the charcoal filters removed sound the best and produce the best power

Thank you so much ! That’s greatly appreciated !! The exhaust is 3” dual to 4” quad bell tips . No mufflers ect
You forgot to ceramic coat it before wrap. Moistures going to trap underneath the wrap and it’s going to corrode the downpipe
One thing you could do to fill in the gap is use exhaust putty then v band over the top

I personally don't think you need that spray . I didn't use it

Damn bro when you revved the M5 cold 😭😭
I cut the video and let the cold start run it’s cycle first
Sounds good!
Thank you so much ! We also have an E92 M3 that I’ll be making content about soon ! Consider subscribing if that’s something you’d be interested in !
@@MBTVTIME Currently torn between buying an E92 M3 or an F10 M5, what's your take?
@@Rocky-ry4lx really just depends what you’ll be using it for , how much you have to spend , and what type of driver you are

@@Rocky-ry4lx for me I would choose the M5 overall , but the m3 is better and more fun in the mountains
when you removed the drives side thing that helps with head so pcv dont melt what kind of bolt was it and size thanks !
Which bolt are you referring to?
Sounds insane ! , did the heat shield not install correctly because of that brand downpipe or different reason ?
I used the OEM heat shield , but I had to modify it to be able to use it , and thank you !
MillerBuilt Customs what size were the nuts underneath the car ?

Great video and sounds awesome 👍🏻have you experienced any exhaust leaks inbetween turbo exhaust housing and downpipe as there was a slight gap?
Thank you! And no , no leaks , possibly would recommend a different brand . The new gaskets helped a ton I’m sure on closing that gap

The fitment is trash . But I made it work
Hey man , did the o2 sensors codes came on? What have you used to delete the codes? Any jb4 probably or another ecu flash or something else
Yeah they came on until I tuned it , I used BM3 . Best I’ve used so far
@@MBTVTIME were you able to pass emissions with the down pipes?
@@rc5702 we don't have that here in TN. But I doubt it
Any video on how you made the intakes?

Are the project gamma downpipes any good
Not a clue to be honest . Better than these probably
@@MBTVTIME well i look on youtube too see a setup on them on don’t find any only there intakes
@@luchii1105 not a clue man . Don't buy the BMS intakes . I can tell you that much lol
Just installed a set of project gammas. Figment was spot on tbh.
