I’m trying to set up a panel view with serial port comms to the PLC. All our other machines use Ethernet to communicate but there’s always that one odd ball. In the PV settings how do I set up the communications? I can not know how to set up using Ethernet. Thanks
Hello, I have a panelview plus 600 and it has firmware 5.10.09, my question is: can I program the panel with the version that you use in your video? I would appreciate it very much if you could help me with this friend.
Yes you can program same way .... but you have to check first if FTview software you have installed supports this firmware..... I think FTVIEW 9.0 will work fine
@@EASYPLCTRAINING I think that FTview v9 does have that firmware, but it does not have the plc that I have, it is a 1769 L32E, in this case which ftview software will be suitable for my panel and the plc?
@@EASYPLCTRAINING In the Rockwell automation compatibility table it mentions that my PLC is not compatible with versions greater than v20, I don't know what to do buddy 😢
That's not good news .... any way try to upgrade the firmware of this hmi .... you can search on google how to upgrade firmware for hmi ..... I think once I have upgraded firmware for Plc .... please check if it is possible to upgrade firmware for hmi
Hola easy plc ...me di cuenta que le cerraron el otro canal que tenia donde enseñaba a instalar los programas factory talk .. me gustaria tener su contacto para asi pedirle ayuda con el programa que me falta ( logix 5000 v13 a v20 . Saludos cordiales

Oh in this case you have to use rs studio 5000 v 30 it is a combination of hmi and plc programming ..... same like tia portal in siemens
