They were hopeless no one could console them. They were just 15 and 13 years old. Everytime I here this song it takes me back to that time. Powerful song written with a lot of thoughtfulness. I remember hearing Chimbetu's song in the early 90s when my father passed. I am still dealing with grief and was even worse when my mother passed away. How do one deal with grief because sometimes I think I have things under control but boom I am moaning life it has just happened.
I don't think we ever "get over" the death of a loved one. My dad has been gone for 23 yrs and I can spend months without thinking of him then one small thing can happen to trigger the memories of him and its like starting all over again. My son resembles him so much in his actions so I don't see myself getting over his loss. I will just learn to live with it
