- The best way to grind Infinite Chaos Dungeons! Guide on Chaos Dungeon - How to make lots of gold in infinity chaos dungeon. Increase scoregear fast. This is a continuation of a previous video where I've grinded 11 hours of continuous chaos dungeon to make a total worth of 50000 gold. This time I switched from 1355 to 1100 Punika Chaos Dungeon and see the results. We will check exactly how much gold we make, what items are tradable or not and if it's a viable way to make gold and upgrade scoregear. Most of the gold comes from the bound materials but also sellable ones from the chaos shop. Lost Ark is a friendly game towards whales, however if you're a free to play ( F2P ) player and cannot afford pay2win.. this might be one of the most valuable grinds out there, outside of market flips and deep knowledge of the game. Amazing video, it's really helpful, I was actually doing that till few days ago when I hit 1370 myself.
I want to clarify though, if u are currently at 1370 it's not worth doing lower chaos than the 1370 the reason being u have a chance to get 1 Great Leapstone from the boss on the second floor, this automatically means that you've made 5 regular leapstones - gold wise its x5 Leapstones - overall this mindless farm payed for me like it did for you Frostadamus, keep on farming the 1370 one it's totally worth it.
Edit : Berserker here 333 engravings (grudge/mayhem/master's tenacity), don't have to use pots for 1370 as I am almost always barely leaving the dungeon with 5-10% hp and pretty much one shot mobs.
So which ilvl should I farm if all I care about is speed and mats? and should I full clear that specific dungeon or half clear? Sitting at 1350 atm
@@ClouduSan Well as you saw in the video as well, 1100 is pretty efficient (overall the same mates if not more depending on ur clearing speed). Go for 1100 and reset after u defeat the boss in the second floor - make sure to check if the portal is also yellow/purple for the extra mini boss.
After u kill the boss and make sure to check if the portal is a "rare" one leave and reenter

Quick update as this video was recorded yesterday.
After about 17 Hours of chaos dungeon I've reached 1370 GS with 229 Fails.
About 70% the mats were from infinite dungeons.
were the 70% untradeable materials only or untradeable and materials you exchange from the vendor.
but how do you get honing mats after 2 chaos runs? don't you need to have crystaline aura to get mats?

Thanks for this video. What card pack do you use for grinding these? I'm currently using "Forest of Giants" + "We'll Meet Again" sets for getting more value out of pots, and some damage reduction. Also what are your thoughts on pairing Keen Blunt with Preemptive Strike for even more crit damage?
honestly if you get preemtive is more than enough. The deck of card with pots does not matter as I used 0 pots in 5 hours, the 1100 mobns and bosses dont hit hard.

yeah man...dont see myself spending 5 hours into boring Chaos Dungeons just to loose all this stuff in failed honing attempts. sure i will not be the fastest and not be the richest guy on the server but without any overfarming and stuff like this i am at 1350 ilvl.

Tempted to give a huge tip that for some reason nobody got it till now or maybe they did but they are quiet.
My sorc makes 500+ guardian and +150 every single run with the highest peak at 608 guardians/h.

I have seen people doing the 1-2 only but when i started to calculate matts it seemed to me that level 3 can give you as much as level 1-2 combined and takes me roughly same time as 2 combined so felt like 1-2 were wasting time on loading screens :D

I don't understand. On login screen in dungeon there is green line called rest bonus and is fast depleted.
After that you don't get any item and xp 1 point per mob.
What about the purple orbs? Do you save them for 1385 accessory or do you buy some epic ones? I mean those could easily be worth many thousand gold with some good rng

Yes. but only on the 1355. This one was better.
Just do the first 2 levels of chaos, check the next portal if red or yellow enter, if not exit and rerun..... I take 2 min per run... so 2.5(2:30) with re-entry time so 24 runs per hour is the optimal way. I have to mention that I'm a paladin so I do not want to hear excuses about not having dmg to run fast.. i run the higher tier chaos that i can, I'm 1366 now. Tbh I think this is better for F2P and for ppl that are used to massive BDO grind like myself probably be best after you do all your dailies stuff u jump on the infinity Chaos grind
Hey mate, so the last part was kinda short but i am interested in it. Why u run 1100 over 1300 chaosdungeon? U say its a time reason. But did u collect data of the increased mat drop rate for higher lvl? - would be interesting.
Related to the First 2 chaosdungeons with energy, many times i was near the next ilvl breakpoint and wondered if i should squeeze out all sources of mats to Reach the new breakpoint and get more mats or just run the lower Chaosdungeons because the gain would be minor.
I run 1100 because the elites drop the same amount of enchacing mats. I can kill the mobs faster on 1100 and I don't spend silver and repair bills. Silver is a huge bottleneck at tier 3, specially after 1370.
As between chaos dungeons with aura of resonance, it seems to be like a 10% increase in mats drop per every level.

Thats interesting, it may be worth to run the first few in highest every week to get more exchange mats until the diminishing returns kicks in and then Go for the fast 1100 for guardian and destruction stones since they will drop the same amount no matter the lvl? But yeah if one grinds it for 10h it doesnt Matter, but for those who want to max their income per time it may be good.
Did some testing on my 1347 berserker, and seems to be about 20-25% slower to do the 1340 one compared to the easiest one. So well worth it for the slightly lower drop chances in the lower one.

for your daily 2 you should do the highest you can.

Portal 1: 45 Sec ~
Portal 2: 55 Sec ~
5 runs ( with waiting time, loading screen etc) in 10 min 20 sec

Just make sure to do 3x dailys for lespstones, weeklys like pvp and boss rush and buy out maris shop as buying lespstones off the market is a massive scam
This is only for tier 3. I don't think the guardian shards can be sold in t2.
wait are infinite chaos a tier 3 thing? because I stop receiving mats after 2 runs and only get the shards that you use to buy mats but those have a weekly cap.
infinite is tier 3
tier 1 and 2 is capped per char. Still good value there.

That is correct. Full dungeon run. There are elites in 3rd portal.

Depends on your load times, too. With my load times it's just faster to clear the 3rd floor and do the Re-Entry function

Check prices on market as it might be different on your server.
A really big thing when doing infinite chaos is actually just to leave after the 2nd portal. If its gold or red obviously do it otherwise you just go. Floor 3 is a giant waste of time as it gives the least amount of materials.

Bard is the easiest one to farm. Put heavy Armor and Awakening on. Try to stay in the center of the group and use prelude of death then prélude of storm. This combo often oneshots boss at the end of lvl2. Repeat
@@Nerwus61 yeah, Ive been doing something similar for a while but red portals are awful. You want red portals for the loot but it is painful as hell to actually finish the boss fast enough

after aura of resonance is consumed. I recommend the lowest for the region you're currently in.

@@FrostadamusWasHere im in t3 so yeah. I tried a bit after watching the vid and realized i actually can clear star 1 and moon1 with a difference of 10 secs so I'll stick with moon1. Furthermore i prefer to finish the run cuz it takes me about 1,5 min on floor3 and then i can quickly reenter. If i leave after floor2 and try to reenter it takes a bid longer than 1 min soo i farmed enough shards to trade 10 great leapstones and quickly made 4k was just about 25-30mins :D
How do you get so many rewards? I only get rewards for the first 2 runs, after that all I get is the materials you trade with the vendor....
After the 2 initial runs... the elites will drop some materials. Very few per run.

Bard is pretty fast. 1-shot all elites and 1-shot or melt packs in 2-4 sec (and save silver on healpotions).
My scrapper 1- shot everything but aoe radius is too small and takes longer to gather the mobs up

I am a gunlancer and I can safely say Gunlancer lol. From what I've seen in every chaos matchmaking I do always mvp most damage and kill count unless there's a paladin/bard that comes up with "most heals" lol. Guardian's Thunderbolt, Leap attack, Shout of hatred and finally Burst cannon with the right tripods has massive aoe damage potential
Maybe I'm missing something.. how do you sell all of those untradable items you got? I can't put them on market :(

You can only sell the materials from chaos shop (weekly reset).
The rest are bound but still have the value of using them yourself.

you can do either, full run will give you silver, but if you don't care about silver and want to focus on trying to get more gold portals you can exit after 2nd
@@MoonTone yeah did a quick 1 hour test net me around 1700 shardsand 240 orbs ish. Got super unlucky on gold portals as i only saw 1 of them. Seems like the rate at which gold portals spawn is lower if u go under ur gs as i was way luckier going at dungeon at my gs the other day. Im 1345 currently. Might just have been super unlucky but idk.
Things like this makes me think about the game, sitting 5 hours doing the same chaos its insane, this without considering you should do the guardians, unas tasks, adventure island, chaos gates and world bosses. At the end of the day will be like 8 hours, yep, i think the game is not for everyone.
It depends what you want out of it. You can play as much as you want and slowly progress. You can also pay if you want to spend your time making $ irl instead. Up to you. When the grind gets super slow I'll probably start doing a lot of the quest I skipped just for fun.

you use them to enchance your gear.
The tradable materials are the ones from the chaos shop. The red shards you loot can be used to exchange for tradable mats near the chaos entrance at vendor.

Edit: Ah nevermind, you mean items worth x gold so you didnt actually get 15.000 gold in 5 hours but items worth 15k gold.

I can't imagine runnning chaos dungeons on my Scrapper alt without the Preemptive Strike lvl 3 build... or any character really. My Sharpshooter main is still nuking faster, but that's because his AoEs are bigger.
Main scrapper here, I do just fine with lvl 3 Taijutsu 3min clears for half runs and 3.5min for full clears
@@ClouduSan how does one even play taijutsu scrapper? stamina abilities feel like they have basically nonexistent AoE (except maybe 1 or two of them), which, while not extremely debilitating at bosses, makes me want to tear my hair out when doing content with lots of mobs (like chaos dungeons or just plain soloing quests)

Yeah I totally agree, every attempt with 15% chance costing 220+ Guardian Stones and 6 leapstones, means that every upgrade costs around 1300 Stones and 36 leapstones. So 5 hours would equal around 2 points at best

T3 mats that you buy from the npc for the shards are unbound, meaning you can sell them on ah if you want to
ugh chaos dungeons to me are like a hamster wheel... beneficial but exhausting.
I think i would enjoy them alot more if there were a higher number of monsters on screen and they trigger more to spawn on higher number of monsters left remaining. Although the changes in KR look enticing, with the second room being alot smaller.

Aura of resonance you get 2x/ day.
After that you get shards and little amount of mats. The shards you can use to exchange for various mats at chaos vendor.

this is a bad idea tbh
if you rush, you will get bored in 1-2 months
in current state of the game, if you have plenty of time it’s recommended to push to 1370, (1340-1370 is roughly requires 250-350k gold buying mats from scratch ) at 1370+ guardian run, abyssal, agros, chaos all have a chance to drop valuable abilities stone and accessories range between 5k -200k. Great honour stone from guardian are also about 8-10k every day. (NA East price) Don’t expect any major honing changes anytime soon, AGS spend 4 hour maintenance and still haven’t fixed server time.
hitting 1385 unlocks stronghold research, increase T3-1370 and lower honing chance success rate and mats reduction , also allows you to exchange 1370 accessories from chaos merchant.
Everything said above is ONLY valid for players playing 6hr and more daily since launch. Tomorrow is reset, faster you hit 1370+ faster you make gold.

For those who exit right away after 2nd stage, REMEMBER, there could be a bonus stage gives relatively good rewards. Plus, you are losing all the combat xps(10k~13k each run) and little extra reward. Maybe you get to lvl55 faster and start using more powerful skills.

@@stefanmario88 No in Infinite Chaos Dungeons. In the time it takes for the third stage, you can easily complete the first two again and get more rewards as a result.

In EU/EN this is sadly the only way to brute force ilvl without paying real money becuase we still lack 3-4 massive farms that should have been there before Argus
try to clear only the 1st 2 level. the 3rd level takes more time to clear than the 1st 2 and give less things
only for certain classes, classes like sorc can do 3rd level fast too because of their mobbing power

Ive reached 1345.25 I think (not online rn cant check BUT above 1340) and i checked how many fails i had up until now it states 53 Fail.. am i lucky or is something wrong. i tought getting to t3 would be harder.. lets see how much i will have after reaching 1370

I'd say that's pretty good. I'm 1335 at around 50 fails. I've heard of people having 100-150 fails start of t3.
ALSO keep in mind 1302-1340 isn't the hard part. It's 1340 to 1370 where your honing % drops significantly. I think it gets down to 5-10% maybe even less can't remember.
@@P4PKing i made it to 1370 today i only had 2 more fails. and now im on 55 fails. i think im lucky.
Edit: My friend hate me right now casue he said hes on 215 fails and still atuck at like 1360 ish.

We have the same honing chance and even our honing price in gold is cheaper just missing lots of content and the main thing being Koreans had a lot more time to have many t2 alts all at 1100 to instantly take to t3 by the time it was released.
@@neckropemancer5416 I do not know where you got that info from but we DONT have the same honing chances. They buffed it in korea so ppl could catch up. The lowest it went in t3 was 35%. Not like we have right now where it literally goes to down to like 10% xD
Also our gold income is way lower since we have the nerfed abysal dungeons and missing a lot of content, so its acutally harder on EU/NA to hone your gear then in KR.
Also amazon/smile gate trapped themselves in this situation since they want to catch up both versions of the game yet not increasing our material income our buffing the honing chance, which does not make any sense. Like less then 1% can even acess the argos raid lmfao.

i'm not understanding the shard vendor. you are acting as if you can just turn 10993 shards into 7000 gold, but every time i buy anything the price goes up. what are you buying and then selling?
I but about 10 Great leapstones weekly which sell for 4500 gold on my server.
And about 5 of the other enchancing stuff.

I mean yea you can do this but be warned this is exactly how you get burned out. Forcing yourself the torture of doing this many Chaos Dungeons is wildly inefficient and just not worth it.
