That's the down side to having a new vehicle more stuff to take off for a simple job. I put headers on my ride and didn't have to take any extra stuff off only took 20 minutes or so.your doing a great job and looking good while you do it

Love the set up. I have the exact same set up on my ZL1. That is the reason why I’m glad I went automatic instead of the manual. I can remote start it and not have to deal with the terrible cold starts ha ha. Wonderful video as usual

I put my long tube headers on with 2 floor jacks and a piece of 4x4 wood. I had no help, and this job was a pain in the a**! But it was well worth it.
I can only imagine.. A 2-post makes it easier. But all props to you for swapping headers on jacks. I agree..100% worth it.

Corsa stopped making these headers. I’m glad I managed to get long tube cat-less headers and the catless xpipe by Corsa before they discontinued. Hope it sounds nice ! Yours sounds amazing!

Good job, headers are a pain to install in a 1960s car where you have a lot of room. That thing sounds great, I thought glass pacs were loud. Get it tuned before pushing it too hard, you just really opened up that exhaust system so the engine will flow a lot more air and that could mess with your mixture. You make all of us California resident's jealous.
A big difference in space compared to the other cars.. They just need to pack so much into an engine bay for no reason lol. It will get tuned soon. Just one more mod. I know the mixture will be an issue with air/fuel..that is why I did one open throttle pull ;).

The AWE pipes are just that..less weight. But with no mufflers.. have the cold start off lol.. it will wake the dead 😂😂

nice and hard great job!! i did it on my Vette without a lift! ...straight pipes are great for sound but not for power, cats are important for exhaust resistance flowing!

The garage made it so loud I turned off my volume till you took it outside. The downshifts are nice though.

Here in California that would definitely not be street legal. However, you could keep it trailered and take it to the track anytime you wanted to drive it there. Sounds really good.

I got kooks stainless long tubes and hi flow cats for my 5th gen ZL1. It sounds great but I really wanted corsa! My install was a pain in the ass
I think Kooks offers the hi-flow. I know for a 6th gen, there is no option. As for the install..pain lol
I have the same exhaust and now you got me thinking headers again! I stayed away from it because I was told the mod work between the two was a pain in the butt!
It was a pain trying to figure it out at first. But really, the distances between the AWE and the Corsa was short. So two 3" diameter straight pipes will merge them without issues. I did not want to go a welded route.

It's crazy loud..I love it except for the cold start..until I tune it out. It wasn't easy due to the horrible space on one side. I think I have a few cops waiting to give me a ticket in Cali lol. Take care!

I'm going to get the FULL Corsa exhaust setup.. Corsa Headers and Corsa Xtreme + Cat back. Fits seemlessly and all one brand. I'm a Corsa purist
All I can say is "DAMMMMMMMMMN" that sounds awesome on 2 12 Rockford Punch Power dvc on 52x4 Sony Xplode using as make shift amp, because many say it won't sound right using Alpine deck with aux input jack with rca output for subs. Anyone with doubts, I can provide video with sound. Looks kindly jacked up with aep look, with wires everywhere, but hey. It gets the cops called. ROFLMOAO

Nope..no one does. ;) I think it's worth it if you don't care about how loud and wonderful it will sound. The cold start just needs to be removed and it'll be perfect.

Beast mode activated NICE!... I need new speakers LOL. I remember when I straight piped my g37 with GTHaus exhaust i could be heard a mile away.
Yup..I love it. The G37 isn't as loud bass wise as the ZL1, but the high pitch of that engine note is insane. There's a guy around town that you could hear, but you don't see the car lol.
