  • A black light is an extremely useful tool for determining whether or not uranium is present as a pigment in class.
Uranium was used frequently in glass before WWII.
Uranium glass will glow florescent yellow or green under a black light, regardless of the color of the glass.

    Hi
I just found this video on CZcams and I am going to enjoy your channel going forward. We have very similar interests. I have an Aladdin Model B Green glass Cathedral lamp that glows beautifully with a black light. I am going to try to find a double socket electric fixture like you showed so I can have a regular bulb on top and a black light bulb in the bottom. That would really enhance the look. After watching this video I am going to start collecting more Aladdin lamps. I am anxious to set one up with oil to help heat my house the two days I need it in the winter in southwest Florida.
