Episode 8 has revealed a lot since I uploaded this video. I was only partly correct about this in that the Flood were absolutely not released in episode 7 when the vials broke, and the words on the door and nearby human DNA both suggest this was where the Forerunners de-evolved humanity. However, the Flood was contained within that library in the capsule, so the words may still have been in reference to the Flood. As far as I can tell it could be either right now, but I was absolutely wrong to think this was all a trick to make us think the Flood was in there when it actually wasn't.
So yeah, I was only half right or so. But dang, the thing the Mother said to Kwan Ha has my head spinning for my next video. There are 2 possibilities from what I can see so far, and a possibility it's both at the same time. It's pretty wild how episode 8 went, and now I absolutely can't wait for season 3.
I watched this E7 recap video right before I watched E8 and literally one minute in I was like, "whelp, guess Will got his answer!" Undoubtedly the best episode of the entire series. Can't wait to see your full review!

I think the signage above the door came from the games and it meant the flood
It didn't come from the games directly meaning "Flood", but it has been used in conjunction with them before without its direct translation being used. In other words it's not their name but just a word that can be used to describe them among other things.
But yeah this may be a library meant to study the Flood and the other things like the human DNA outside was unrelated and just randomly there so the characters can reveal things about the relationship between the humans and Forerunners. I still stand by the fact that it can be interpreted both ways given those oddities, though. It could just be the face value meaning of "Flood", but I suspect it's meant to be more than that.
