RIP Brit ! One of the best humans to ever walk this planet
Ain`t Much Left Of Me was the last song I ever heard with my brother when I took him to his 1st Blackberry Smoke show on Aug. 22nd 2018. Two days later he was in a fatal motorcycle accident outside of Nashville(Leipers Fork). Hard song to listen to for a few years. Then I met Brit and Richard Turner, of BBS, at The Shed in 2022 and they each gave me a big hug before we did a Charity Ride together, with about 100 others, for The Lana Turner Foundation. Brit had left free passes for me at The Shed for 2 nights shows, because I learned about them after them being sold out. We communicated the last 2 years of Brit`s life, and I am eternally grateful for his friendship ! All that, gave me my final healing from losing my Li`l Bro` Karl. Tonight I will hear them play that song in Pittsburgh Pa. and it will be hard again, but this time because we all have lost Brit. Thank You David Lee for such a great song ! It has sooooo much meaning for me, and for most that hear it !
