We’re the podcasters that smoke weed so it’s only right that we have an incoming 4/20 Special featuring the Legendary Skinnyman and the herbs specialist Mr Stoned Island, out on Thursday 4/20 at 8pm, where the conversation is everything to do with cannabis, including the pros and cons. We never got to put Skinny through the ‘RTM Fire Round’ when we first had him on the show because we hadn’t thought of it yet so we put him and Jay (Mr Stoned Island) through it, including a special weed section. This was a high conversation especially for the weed smokers but even if you don’t smoke, you can be sure to catch some jokes on this one. We’re dedicating this one to the real Ganja Farmer ‘Black The Ripper,’ may he rest in peace, smoking trees! Yet another Realer Than Most conversation with lots of banter, real talk and transparency. Where you said you're not being fair with that comment, I agree 100% because he's allowed to have an opinion and feel however he feels about him, but to say he's never done anything and is nothing is clearly his emotional feelings on it. Even Skinnyman's done tunes with him at one point in time, and I wondered if Skitz took Skinnyman off Twilight of the Gods over this or he took himself off, cause that tunes now being sold with no Skinnyman verse on it and his verse made that tune. It was the best verse on the tune easily. But there was a time he obviously didn't hate him, and respected him enough to work alongside him. Skinnyman is a better rapper than Rodney P imo, but Rodney P is a foundation artist in UK rap. No one can ever say he's not or take that away from him. It's like you said in that clip, even if you don't like them personally you can't erase their life. What they do outside of music can wipe that but it has to be unforgivable or nearing that when you have that amount of history in it.
And he tried punching him in the face and Rodney P said he rated it cause he was the only one that ever actually done that instead of saying whatever to his face. I think that was honest that comment.
And also, I don't have a bad opinion on Skinnyman at all, I think the fact he did that and he then also tried to handle it not on a camera and away from the eyes of people speaks volumes on who he is and thought that about him anyway from back in the day. At the same time, I can't say Rodney P wasn't honest in what he said on that either. He has to admit that what Skinnyman did there shows what type of person he is and he stated that.
I think Skitz might of taken it off. He also spoke about Skinny being paid by Lowlife but probably forgot mirroring Rodneys sentiment on a different pod, and obviously he's Rodneys DJ and they've toured together for years. It's just a guess that he has, but from what i can make out, thats the rigid option
I know Rodney P and Skitz are tight so I thought the same thing, he's probably taken Skinnyman off the tune. So there's things going on that no one's even aware of with that situation. This is a personal dislike between them as well as the public bits that have been aired about who's done what.
This stuff is always messy though, especially when it gets out there cause people like you and me and everyone else that doesn't know these people will chime in with their opinion, and the fact is we actually just don't know quite what the beef is there. It's not as surface level as it looks though, there's deeper reasons. I feel like Skinnyman is definitely a certi guy and will tell you what he thinks and all his actions match his words, but he's definitely more in his emotions than logic for this one, and it's hard to say why that is. He's Scorpio though.. If you believe in that.
