I am an Aussie bloke and as blokey as they come but I can honestly say that Jonah was a beautiful man and the most wonderful kind spirit for a prof. footballer I've ever seen. Geez I miss seeing him play and just being alive for the world to be in awe of.... my young hero Jonah. We just couldn't ever find a reason to dislike him even when we saw him tearing our Wallabies to pieces a lot of the time....RIP great man
Well said bro. I miss those epic Bledisloe Cup matches when Jonah played. You guys had some badass wingers too like Sailor and Tuqiri.
Absolutely well said... he was such a gentleman... The world is a much lesser place without this man... Brilliant Athlete and damn in his prime he just bulldozed.... loved watching him play...
Absolutely Abs and NZ Rugby has never been the same since Lomus passing the players now I find them to be soft and are like personalities Jonah came from humble beginnings and was an old soul wise beyond his years and had so much compassion for the world's people he was a giant hero a gentle giant gone but not forgotten 😢❤
What a talent. Even though Jonah is gone, people will be still be talking about him for generations to come!
RIP mate 🙏
Absolute legend. On and off the field.
Seeing Jonah on this breaks my heart. His family are STILL fighting over him, he can't be resting in peace! 😢
Still? Wow
What are they fighting over?
I remember my father waking me up on the morning of 24 June, 1995 at about 10AM, and my dad saying (in Afrikaans): "Jonah Lomu already ran us ragged and you're still sleeping!". Besides the fact that it meant I slept late, it indicated pretty much what everyone was fearing that day. It was a sign of respect to the big man - and the fact that he never scored against us is actually a big tribute to how much it meant to us to stop him.
I imagine him playing a helluva match somewhere out there with Joost, Ruben, Chester and James.
Rest in peace Jonah Lomu
Everytime the All Blacks lose i think of Jonah Lomu! RIP Champ!

You couldn't find anything bad to say about this man, humble and respected all opponents on the pitch!

Lighten up chump
ABs have chenged since Lomus time not for the better the rugby fellas of the decade are soft and with all the marketing it hasnt done nz rugby for guys any good ... most prominent player would be SBW but truth be told 90s early 2000s was the era of Rugby 🏉
