They channeled the Supernatural to write & play all the incredible songs they've written as do all music stars. Have you heard their new album ??? I love it when Rudolf takes the occasional solo. He's not technical or fast, but he has loads of feeling. Not a lot of notes, but all the right ones.

I still think this is one of the darkest, if not the darkest song they've ever composed.

@@lacecreationz2434 Because it's minor key musically and they way the are sang against the melody of the music makes it feel, of a darker mood compared to many of their other songs. It has a sort of animal watching in the shadows, waiting for it's prey mood.

On the album there's kind of an evil laugh at the end I wish he would have included that, To me it changes the whole meaning of song... In the movie The wrestler I was blown away when Marisa tomei was dancing to this song it was kind of esoteric I knew not many people knew who was singing it..
The soundtrack of my life when I was 15 years old. More than forty years later, I'm still supporting the Scorps! I love the Rock Believer album. It's a return to the 80's kick-ass sound. I saw the tour in San Antonio recently. Blessed to say I've seen them in concert in every decade since the 80's

53 years old and have been favorite band since blackout in 82.
Then discovered Tokyo Tapes,Animal Magnetism and Lovedrive.
Have every album and I too saw them in every decade starting in1988.
Went to Chicago in 2022 to show also.
Great time and still sound amazing.
So many great songs. Very rare for me not to like a song from this band.
Favorite song is Blackout, Animal Magnetism,Hey You and China White.
Still listening to them all the time and got to go to show in Chicago with one of my boys so that was priceless.

You no doubt were also seeing Angel, Legs Diamond, and so many other great bands like UFO etc that while Rush was putting on legendary shows, The Scorpions were better concerts than most bigger name bands of the era. Rolling Stones couldn't touch Scorpions live in concert. Nor could Sabbath, as much as I dearly love Sabbath, probably more than Scorpions a tad. But Rush is the only band I can definitively say was a nudge better in concert than the Scorpions. NOT BY MUCH!! Rick Sanford of Legs Diamond was a different level in studio. But Klaus could perform all their songs. No Auto Tune. Dio was great too. But maybe not as good of material to sing. I think Klaus had Dio by a nudge live in concert. Scorpions really need more recognition.

During this time he blew out hos voice though. Surgery and the other guys waited for him then blackout and they were off to super stardom
yes, they were very close to superstardom and then Klaus' voice was gone !
He even went to Rudolf and suggested that they should look out for a another singer^
Rudolf response was great : " What a new singer ? are you gone mad ?? we gonna make everything for you so you can get healthy again !

Saw this tour on July 18 1980 in Rochester NY, Def Leppard opened, both bands kicked ass, Scorps were on fire that night!

I was at the same show.I'm From Rochester,born n raised.Scorp's always rocked live.Don't know how many times I seen them live,but at least a half dozen times.Scorpions were my youth.No question.

Yes, this is the first time I've seen a live version of this song.
Maybe I'm wrong but to me you can definitely hear the Scorpions' influence in many heavy metal albums to come. Those "Arabian" influences are present in a lot of Metallica tunes for an example. People often forget how influential the scorps' late 70s and early 80s records are. Definitely metal pioneers.

Klaus seems to put every ounce of effort into each performance and every song. Like each song will be his last song... Incredible. And incredibly hard to do, night in and night out while on the road...in a foreign country.

Now I know why I've heard this song until recently. I was a kid when it came out and hard rock/metal was not being played on the radio yet. These guys were ahead of the times! This song just grips me I absolutely love it & play it loud every day! I think it would be a hit in today's world! ❤❤❤❤Love you guys so much!! To me this is a masterpiece! The drums, the guitars, the vocals-coordinating perfectly! 😍🌹
My cousin and I were at the show in Houston we were probably 14 years old and this is the song I really remembered to me with such a heavy song I’ve been a scorpions fan ever since
I am so Thankful you shared this. This moment was locked in my brain for over 40 years!!!!!!! I saw them perform this in Long Beach and was blown away. This has to be a hard song to recreate live. Klaus was pushing his vocal chords to the brink!!!! After this tour it would be two years for him to heal after his surgery. Thank God he did
Saw them once in California and twice in Arizona. Each time was better than the last.
70’s scorpions is the best. Same with Priest. Great decade for metal.

Great song and the Scorpions with Matthias Jabs are really rocking here after the Uli Jon Roth era and how about that solo from Rudy! I saw the Animal Magnetism Tour in Phoenix (Def Leppard opened up) a week before this show and it blew me away and even saw them at the Sports Arena in LA that summer. Steamrock Fever!

And "In Trance" ..I saw them way back then as well and love their older stuff..but even today it's impressive they still go out and tour..

THRILLED!! to see this pop up today. One of my favorite Scorpions tracks from my favorite LP. My memory of this song is hearing them do this at Soundcheck on the Blackout Tour 82. I was outside the doors for hours of the venue. We saw them come in, and heard this coming from inside. Thanks for sharing this clip from 1980 USA Tour!
Wow, imagine finding this video here. I was at that show in Houston, my time to see Scorpions. That lead me down the rabbit hole to find the previous albums, been a fan since the Animal Magnetism album. Rock on!

I didn’t have to, I borrowed it from my oldest brother and made cassette copies for my friends just before Blackout came out. Bought the CD when it was first released but like a lot of those older CD’s the dynamic range was seriously lacking until it was remastered specifically for the digital format. 🤘🖖✌️
