RIP Hask. If you read Inferno Squad you'd know how Their betrayal really affected his life. This was a great DLC in my opinion, the emotional parts had so much more feeling than they did in the first story. Im gonna miss Iden, but Zay is pretty badass and Im glad Shriv survived.

Well destroying that hyperdrive was pretty pointless, considering they ended up at Starkiller were the Star Destroyer was presumably going anyways.
Justafan IV Yeah but if the Star Destroyer had the chance to land or join a fleet they would be toast and have no escape route. Stopping it that far away not only gave them an exit strategy, but (although they didn't know that Starkiller Base would explode) it also helped them avoid the explosion.
Christie Russow True, but even if they were "only" traveling at light speed, it's super convenient they stopped the SD within view of Starkiller but not at its original destination.
That is a window of a few seconds tops, and light speed is significantly slower than what a hyperdrive is capable of going.

How does the First Order become more powerful than the Empire? The First Order has to operate in secret and, therefore, could only have access to a limited number of planets. The Empire could operate in the open and had access to all the resources of all the planets within a vast Galactic Empire spanning many systems.
Why does Disney have such a hard on for diminishing the original trilogy.
The First Order is powerful because they learn from the Empire's mistake of focusing on quantity over quality and using the we have reserves mentality the first order upgraded everything they had and upgraded the training of all their personnel to not only be more loyal but in all general purpose better and they performed a massive surgical strike before continuing on to attack the rest of the Galaxy
A little late but it is also because the First Order did not grow inside the known region of the galaxy they grew in the unknown region which has yet to be mapped and fully explored. Most of the First Orders ships weapons and armor are things new to the galaxy and more advanced but made in the unknown region where the republic had no eyes and barely anyone to watch them.
Plus we now know that they had help from Palpatine awho had already set resources aside to help the First Order get started

Tbh I enjoyed the entire campaign. Star Wars have a way of introducing characters and new events but maintaining the original story, whether video game or TV series. Sure, its not without its faults in terms of dialogue, introducing missions or relationship building, but still enjoyable.
So help me... I'm am so tired of rebels/resistences... why couldn't we get a full New Republic vs First Order and have an actual war instead of the same ole same ole...

The Only exciting moments was when i saw those Arc-170's and shooting their rear guns. When Hask shot down the Corvus being a badass bout it and when entering the resurgent-class ship seeing its hyperdrive load up. The Rest is actual trash and not interesting.

True, but still, 'generally' speaking, BC2 rightfully deserves greater praise and fame than Bf3, which rose in popularity because of marketing, growth of the internet, and the downfall of CoD (even though numbers boomed after the beauty that was BO2, it dropped enough to negate that rise with Ghosts). Bf3's campaign pretty much did the black ops campaign (which was already shit) in a modern setting, made it more realistic than MW3, but the overall pacing was horridly done, not to mention a rather monotonous plot. Bad Company 2 has an enjoyable campaign with great writing which I see fans be totally ignorant of at times. I apologize for making comparisons to BF with CoD, but there is no denying that the former franchise blossomed by shitting on the other, which is proven by how we still say BF>CoD in 2017, where nearly every game is better than CoD. Yes, this is my opinion, but new Bf fans needs to play that game.
Thanks for the imperial Story Line, I really enjoyed to watch the perspective of the Imperials. And I absolutely LOVED, how Idens Story is ended. Great end to a great character and a great Elite Squad of the Empire!

adding the fact that it'd be a sob story of the empire failing (Star Wars aint Berserk or some other bittersweet tale), I wouldn't want to finish the game on the Empire's side. Best would've been a Starcraft or Transformers WfC/FoC styled double campaign focusing on both sides equally.

Yeah this doesn't seem much of a tie in to me. This really shouldn't have been dlc. This should have been more ending of the campaign and the Dlc be them going to the outer rim and showing what happens there during the last Jedi.

Damn, Iden's death was really sad. I think that part was really well done. It was well done to the point of it reminding me of my father's death. The way Zay felt was exactly how I felt( I wasn't trying to bring down the fisrt order or anything, hahaha).

I'm not saying stories of the Rebellion are bad because it's what launched Star Wars to be so successful. it's just that we've seen stories of the Rebels ever since day one of the series and I've had enough of it. we know how the story ends, the Rebellion wins, and shocker there. but what about the Empire? we know they lose, but how do soldiers loyal to the Emperor survive now that the 2nd Death Star has been destroyed? this is what the original Battlefront 2 game gave us. the story of a Clone Trooper who survived the Clone Wars and the rise and fall of the Empire. I wanted to have this again where we are Storm Troopers loyal to the end. but the writers of this Battlefront thought recycling a older story would be better rather than giving us something new. so yeah, I REALLY don't want another story about the Rebellion. if I do then I'll go back and player older SW games. until then, show us the struggles of the common Storm Trooper has he fights to survive now that the Empire has crumbled

I’m not a gamer so I don’t know nothing about it.
I’ve watched another Battlefront 2 cutscenes video here on CZcams and this one kind of started where the one I’ve seen ended.
So my rookie question is: is Battlefront 2 just one game (with so many cutscenes it’s a bit much to put in one video) or are there ‘in-game’ expentions available to get extra missions and cutscenes? (Like a in-game extra storyline thingie?)
