Excellent. I have the 805 and it works a treat
Turns out the 809 playlist loads into my 805 just fine. There are a couple of list choices were a 'Main' voice may not be available on the 805 but will exist on the 809. No problem just manually choose another voice accomplishment. The 805 and 809 are brother and sister so they are very compatible . I've added a strong subwoofer to my CVP 805 which can shake the house so I need to balance it with my piano volume for rich sound.
Fantastic demonstration. Thank you. Its too bad that i see some reviews on messages boards suggesting that the Clavinova CVP 809 is some kind of toy with a lot of bells and whistles compared to other digitals or acoustics. I think that sells the 809 short. Its a magnificent sounding instrument. Best!
please tell me how to get out of playlist on my 809? I got in fine for the first time, but now I can't get out, please help me, thank you
Hi Richard, Thank you for a great instructional video. Once I opened the files on the Clavinova, the five playlist files appeared next to the folders. So, I removed them from the USB Drive, and it now seems to work ok. Just hope I'm not missing something.

Does the sheet music appear on screen for each of the bonus songs as well?

Music displays beyond grade 3 or 4 possible on CVP 805 and/or 809?

What is the benefit of copying the playlist files and moving up one level? Before doing this, the playlist for each category is in its category folder and easy to find. Also why copy and paste as opposed to cut and paste? Thanks for all the CVP tips.

I prefer to have all of the Playlists in one place, so that you are not opening and closing folders to change Playlists. I just think that reducing the number of "taps" to change Playlist is beneficial. :-)

No real benefit, other than you have the Playlist files in both places, should you prefer the way original library system works.
