Saw him live in Halifax, NS back in 2007. Only time a comedian made me fall out of my chair form laughing so hard! John was beyond a shadow a doubt one of the funniest comedians in history.
Glad I got to see him once live. So funny and personable. He and I actually had a conversation during his set where he asked me where I was from. When I said buffalo ny his eyes lit up and we talked about chicken wings and beef on weck and sponge candy 😂 Rip!

Was. He died after losing a large amount of weight. They did not do an autopsy to see what he died from. Just said, oh, it must have been his heart. In my opinion, he died of extreme weight loss dieting. We should all know and remember this! THIN DOES NOT MEAN HEALTHY.

Pulmonary embolism, a clot in his lung. He lost a lot of weight and had a few health problem. A few months before he died he said he was spent and didnt give himself enough time to heal and was taking a break. Such a shame.
Only hope he knew how many lives he put a little laughter into and made them happier, in that moment, what a gift. May he RIP and we will keep his laughter going forever 😂!
I love John Pinette! I keep looking for him on Max and Netflix. They have a lot of comedians on but none as funny as John Pinette. I know he has passed, but they need to honor his very talented legacy.

I like how he brings the joke of God burying the turnip back to the present tense with his sister digging up the turnip and bringing it to his house.
