Just an FYI.. the reason Chuuya asked “how” in the first place is because he was curious for Dazais reasoning, originally he was just gonna say “well no shit” but I decided I wanted to add some reasoning behind Dazais theory, so! there it is!

One of my headcannons is that Dazai was raised with people who spoke Russian so he has a Russian accent while speaking Japanese as he didn’t learn Japanese until he was with Mori! And sometimes Fyodor and Dazai will start throwing slurs and cussing each other out in Russian
