- This is Part 2 of an awesome and very informative nine hour walking tour of New York City with New York Tour1 (now known as ExperienceFirst: www.exp1.com/new-york-tours/) and our fantastic guide Bobby. It was 94 degrees with almost 100% humidity but that didn't stop us from having a great time in The Big Apple. This video covers Downtown Manhattan including a Staten Island ferry ride past the Statue of Liberty, Fraunces Tavern (where George Washington had his retirement party), New York Stock Exchange, Wall Street, the Federal Building, J.P. Morgan Building, Trinity Church, Charging Bull, 9/11 Memorial, Woolworth Building, City Hall, Brooklyn Bridge, New York Courthouse and Supreme Court, Chinatown, Little Italy, SoHo. Here's the link to Part 1: Midtown Manhattan ( • New York City Walking ... )

I feel like I went to New York this morning. Thank you!
ME TOO
Man, that tour guide was awesome. Thanks for the upload!
That was The best hands down informative tour that was extremely enjoyable and well shot. The tour guide should get Major kudos for his knowledge, and speaking. Awesome tour Thanx!!!
+Karma Michelle Moon Thanks for watching and yes, our tour guide Bobby was awesome!
Andy's Awesome Adventures I would like to know where all the normal, everyday average Joe lives that I see in your videos.....surely the people working in the cafes and bakeries can't afford the 2 to 3 thousand dollar a month rent?? What about the policemen I see in little Italy....do they have to commute? I'm a printer by trade and would love to live in NYC, but I never seen any print shops in your video....I have so many questions. Are the upper floors in the buildings in China town and little Italy apartments? Is it safe to venture out after dark? Are there any boarding houses with rooms for rent, so one could live and save a few paychecks to find a safe place to live in Manhattan or China town or little Italy??
A lot of New Yorkers live on Manhattan, in condos and ordinary flats, in the so called ‘Projects’ and residential areas like East Village where mid-income families live.
1,6 million people commute to Manhattan from places like Jersey, Brooklyn, Queens and even as far away as upstate New York. On the other hand, 130,916 residents of Manhattan leave the county for work, with 27,179 going to Bronx County, 23,906 to Brooklyn and 20,087 to Queens County. (Census Bureau Reports 2013).
You ask: “Are the upper floors in the buildings in China town and little Italy apartments?” Yes, in general. You ask: “Is it safe to venture out after dark?” Yes. in most places. If one uses one's common sense, you are usually on the safe side. If you wave a lot of dollar bills in a dark alley, you won’t be safe. You ask: “Are there any boarding houses with rooms for rent,...”Sure there is. Look in the local papers and adds on the wall in the local mart.
As a printer You can print Your own money (don't need to worry about I high rent) .
Bobby is an excellent Guide. Awesome! Thumbs up for this guy!
I grew up in Brooklyn and worked in Manhattan all of my life -- started on Wall Street, then the garment district, then mid-town, just around the corner from the major library on Fifth Avenue, then further up -- Park Ave., South (within walking distance of Grand Central Station). Also visited the top of the original World Trade Center and many, many other places. Anyway, what I wish to say is that, despite my being a "native", so to speak, in watching this tour I am realizing just how little I know about NYC -- and it's history. Wish there was more.
Imran Nadal_ CR7_Khyber Pakhtunkhwa • But mid-winter with a gorgeous snowfall in Central Park is something LA can’t have. But who can argue with Royal Palms lining many streets? Aha decisions, decisions. Maybe visit one, and then a year later visit the other! (You’ll have a hard time putting either one of those up against THE most beautiful area of the USA - my beloved South! Where people are polite and Jesus Christ is King! And we definitely have the country’s best cooks!)
Imran Nadal_ CR7_Khyber Pakhtunkhwa • Please don’t listen to the stereotype songbirds! We are multi-cultural and embrace all peoples. The worst thing about us is the humidity in summer, lol. But you will be welcome!
Imran Nadal_ CR7_Khyber Pakhtunkhwa • I don’t think so, Sir. (Honestly I’ve never met anyone from those beautiful States in person; but I’ve seen the country on Google Earth and in books; and I’ve met some online. )The thread that weaves the tapestry is that we’re all Americans. Right now, in all honesty, political parties are very divided especially in “keyboard kingdoms” but I have found, when you talk to people face to face, you can always find common ground on issues everyone faces - parenting, buying groceries, etc etc. Just like in this NYC video, that guy could easily be my neighbor!🤗
Every time you hear "You Guys". Take a tequila shot! Great guide by the way
Hic
Damn, I dont want to d i e
i did with coffee... i gave up.. haha
Oh my God, this was an excellent tour! Thank you so much for sharing this. What a fountain of knowledge this guide has - and he’s only been living there 6 years! I am going to watch it again. I was supposed to take my daughter to NYC this summer, but Covid put an end to that. We will watch this together. Thank you again!
You're quite welcome and thanks for watching! We were very fortunate to have Bobby as our guide. Did you watch Part 1, which is midtown New York?
This dude knows a lot about New York
Bobby has great energy, knowledge, and charisma
Amazing one ...felt like I was been there!!! Thanks Andy
Thanks Mallika!
mallika bendre
Wow..this was absolutely fantastic..part 1 & 2..The tour guide is superb..so knowledgeable and full of energy. I feel better prepared for my second trip to NYC this Nov. 👏
You guys.
"you guys" uuuggg...
This is a really good comment, you guys.
I kinda loved his over use of You Guys.
I was thinking the same thing lol
At least he's not pronouncing it as Youse gies or is that more Boston?
Really enjoyed the tour! Very informative. Great guide!
Really enjoyed all the info Bobby gave during this long 9 hour tour! I'll be going to NY City soon for my very first time and this has really been some great and helpful information!
Very knowledgeable and eloquent tour guide. Has good memory and facts on his tips. Good videos.
Thank you Andy for sharing both of your walking tour to The Big Apple!! Tour guide Bobby is full of knowledge about the city, he makes the tour fun and interesting. I hope during my next visit, he'll be my guide!! I agree...felt like I was walking with you :))
Thank you for watching-glad you enjoyed the videos! Yes, Bobby was great and you should definitely request him next time you visit The Big Apple.
The blonde in the hat was hot can you give me her number lol
I noticed her too. Yeah she was hot had me looking at her a long time :).
Andy, Just want to say a big thank you for filming this tour and sharing it with us all on youtube. Sending you best wishes from South Wales, in the U.K.
Thank you so much Mark from South Wales. Glad you enjoyed it!
I am also from Wales, i really understand the term 'small town' now after watching this amazing video, i feel like id have massive cultural shock if i ever moved to NYC !
that was great video, thank you for sharing. how did you find this guy, tour-guy Bobby? he is really good & funny.
zana gergin • I have a good “virtual” friend from Haverfordshire West, whom I’ve never met but have emailed back and forth for years. We’re both getting on up there in years, and I hope we’ll be able to really meet someday. I’ve been “all over” Wales in Google Earth, lol. But someday, if our health holds out, I’m going to meet my friend Gail.
Cool video just as good as part one. I felt like I was on the tour!
same here lol
its 👍 like being there watching the tour
Thank you, Bobby, great insight of New York
Im glad so many posters get the guide. He is a good man.
Thank you for that fabulous tour Andy, and thanks to your amazing guide xx
You're quite welcome! I learned a lot despite having worked in Manhattan for three years a while back.
I'm sure I would learn a lot about my home town if i ever went on a tour x
I know NY pretty well having lived and worked there for my first 50 years. This guy does a really nice job. Hats off to you Andy.
Glad you enjoyed the video!
The best history teacher.
Loving this. Great.😄🤗😋
This guy deserves an applaus indeed..thanks for the great stories
I lived in NYC for 12 years and never saw most of these historical things. I used to go to Canal St. to buy art supplies. We used to go to the San Gennero St fair in Little Italy. According to the Italians I knew, they moved out of Lil' italy so their kids could have a yard to play in and have a big house on some land and grandparents could have a garden. They used to have AIR lofts down there. Ah, I miss this city. My friends and I would often walk down Broadway from Columbia Univ. to the Village (there wasn't much below the village to see except factories and loft buildings), eating all the way, then we'd catch a bus and go back up home.
He. Was. Awesome.
I watched tour part 1 and 2 and enjoyed Bobby's information. He is so knowledgeable and did a fantastic job. Now I'm so tired and need to take a nap. Thank you for sharing
You're welcome! Imagine how tired I was after spending 9 hours on the tour in high heat and humidity. :)
off to NYC in a couple of weeks. Watched many videos. This is undoubtedly the BEST!
Thank you so much!
This was really well done. I felt like I was in the middle of New York. No need to visit it now. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed the video but it's one thing to see New York City in a video and another thing to visit it in person. Believe me-it's worth the visit if you ever get a chance.
FirstName LastName I've been lucky enough to visit twice, 2006 and 2016. Although this is a great video, there's no substitute for going there in person
Thanks Andy, I would love to take this tour and hope to see Bobby guiding .. good energy .. Initially I was thinking of doing a walking tour all by myself but after seeing your video and Bobby's insights in every monument , I understand that a good guide can add true value to the time spent in the city and make a life long memory .. Thanks again !!
I personally always prefer a guide to seeing something myself. If you book with them request Bobby and I'm sure you'll get him.
again... part 2 was a treat to see... thank you for posting both.
I feel like I just spent a day in the city what a great guide and what great cinematography, awesome vid! Very immersive :)
Thank you so much! My videography is not my strong point but we were fortunate to have Bobby as our tour guide.
he has done a good NY history search 👍👍
In this two-video set (Part 1 and Part 2), I’ve seen and heard a lot of interesting New York history. Thank you for great filming, editing, and your tour guide was awesome, “you guys!” Perfect for people like me, who like to ‘armchair travel’ for health reasons. Thanks so much for having us along!
So glad you enjoyed it-thanks for watching!
This guy is amazing source of knowledge I wish worked as a NYC tour guide
It's really hard for us to visit NYC being native Greeks, living in Athens, and this was definitely the best tour we've seen so far! Kudos for the upload and double-kudos to Bobby! Amazing job! Thank you!
Thank you so much for your comment. I thank you and I'm sure Bobby thanks you!
I love ❤️ New York the best city in world
The tour guide is a very nice man , I hope He`s doing very well .
It wasn't sunk for insurance money.
Ask yourself. Who else was on that boat;
That also greatly contributed to the state of New York and early days of the country as a whole. This tour guide single-handedly proved to me what I've thought to be crazy since I heard about that catastrophe.
@17:30
Great tour, great video and great tour guide 👍👍👍 just what we need during lockdown in the UK
That was the well guided tour, it was like I myself being on the actual location, Thank you.
You're welcome-we were fortunate to have Bobby as our guide that day!

I'm about to go to NY for the 2nd time in April. I went there 6 years ago (I was 12yo) and I remember how much I loved this city. Your video is really good, it makes me even more excited than I was 2 hours ago.. Can't wait ! Thank you
You're welcome!
I don’t do comment but I will for this awesome tour guide your amazing
An enlightened tour guide who knows his onions real well. Very informative Guy. Good job.
Hey Andy.
I'm heading to New York on the 20th July, and stumbled across your video, and woah, so many places I'd never have known to visit, and honestly I felt like I was there with you all.
Bobby is amazing, and I can only hope he is still doing these tours, because what an amazing wealth of information that man has and it would be a shame for anyone on the tour not to get to hear his breakdown, I'm almost debating booking with the instructions it has to be Bobby doing the tour :)
Thank you again for taking the time to film this, and put it together, I was excited for my trip before, but my god, I'm even more so after watching this!
Thank you so much Ashleigh! Yes, Bobby was fantastic but I don't think he works for New York Tour1 anymore. However, I'm sure their other guides are great, too. New York is a great town-so much to see and do!
Thank you for bringing me back to NYC. Best tour & guide I’ve seen online.

Andy thank you so much for sharing your visit to New York City. I must say your tour guide was very, very informative and well spoken. I could listen to him all day. Does he tour the Bronx, Brooklyn and any of the other borough of NY?
I know that New York Tour1 does a one day Brooklyn tour. You can check out their website www.newyorktour1 and call them to request Bobby. Maybe he does a private tour in the other boroughs?
What a fabulous tour.....I am from New York......and this was truly amazing historical guide to NYC!

This guy, Andy, is great. I love him.
Excellent! Feel as if I’ve been on your tour - only wish I had the stamina. How interesting you are, Andy, and you never lost my notice. Thank you
Hi Carol-actually, Bobby was the tour guide. I filmed and edited the video and that's me at the very beginning but Bobby gets all the credit and I'm sure he's very appreciative of your comment.
This was wonderful! Thank-you for posting.
You're quite welcome-thanks for watching!
Awesome tourguide. One of the best. Everybody should tip him at least USD 20,- above his regular charge !!! Thank You from Germany ......
He was awesome and I'm sure he'd appreciate your tip comment.

The Mrs. and I are to old for traveling, we waited to long and so these videos are a very good way for us to see a city that is so interesting and exciting, we appreciate the tour.
Glad you enjoyed the video but you are never too old to travel. If you are in relatively good health and can afford to travel-you should.
Fantastic videos Andy! Thank you for uploading your NY Adventure. Your videos are the best I've seen and it felt like I was with YOU GUYS ;) Bobby is such a great tour guide! I've written down every place that you went to and wish us luck when we go visit NY this October. Cheers!
