There is a good and evil battle going on arround us, and the heavy oppression all arround so many of my friends! This message was timely! After 35 years of chronic pain that is only getting worse, I have asked God "what of eternal worth is my chronic pain?" I think maybe Don you helped answer it in this post. I know when I get to heaven, just the feeling of no more pain will be a part of my reward, but what I do through it is the purpose! Our days are getting closer to meeting the Lord in the air so as the heaviness weighs us down all around us and the battle wages arround us, I will choose to awaken each morning with a greatful heart and press on to do what God asks of me. When I finnish the day I will be blessed and give thanks that I survived another day!

One of the first Christian songs I ever heard, when I was first saved was 'Sing for Joy to God our Strength'. I had never heard anything like it, I just loved that song so much, so special to me. Brings me back to that time when I first believed.

DonMoen when I was a young girl I used to listen to your songs in casette tapes. My late sister Caroline bought a lot of your tapes to inspire me. She has gone to be with Jesus. I am sure she is listening to your songs in heaven. She loved all your songs.

I'm a great fan of Mr. Don Moen. I greatly admire his gentleness and meekness. The smile in his face reflects his closedness to God. His songs are amazing, simply wonderful, awakening millions of souls. This message is really what I needed, it is exact in today's Christian's lives who get numbed spiritually by the comfort of this world. YES, pain is a great blessing which makes us lean on God. Apparently pain is a blessing in disguise.

I truly truly wish I had such a pastor anywhere near where I live. I can’t find anyone who isn’t compromising the truth, watering down the truth, or flat out not even teaching truth. God has used this brother and others on radio and even prayer lines- but for reasons I have always been puzzled by, has not yet used a pastor in person to Shepard or lead me in any way- and I have sought out and prayed. God has been faithful to directly occupy that slot, but don’t I need a pastor?? I’m not looking for perfect-just real and sincere and committed to the Word just as it is, and yielded to the Holy Spirit. That’s all. That’s all I want in a pastor.
