    You can sand plastic, just use ultra fine grit, totally looks like a Suhr Headstock, there's some really great cheap guitars lately lighting a fire under the big brands butts, stainless steel frets , locking tuners, great electronics, too many to list here, only a guitar player knows what hes playing your usual audience member usually couldn't tell or care what the name of your guitar is, the heydey of great cheap guitars lately , i just wish they were around when I started playing, cheap meant junk, my rant for the day lol great review!!

    The scratch on the pick guard will probably disappear when you peel the plastic off, I noticed the round sticker which is on top of the plastic protection as it was on mine and others in the shop. Like you say it’s different from the Fender but not in a bad way. The quality compared to the fender is very good ( I think better) and the price I paid £330. V and my Fender player series was a little over £600. I’ve decided to sell my player strat and replace it with an S7.

    But is Capable of all the Tele Spank you need!! Chicken Pickin or Rock, it can be that Guitar, but as an Option

    Thanks for the great review. To my ears it doesn’t sound anything like a tele. I have one and it’s surprising how the mahogany “cancels” out the tele twang. It probably sounds more like an SG with P-90’s. Mine came with 10’s, I put 9’s on it and now the high E string keeps popping out of the nut slot. I think it needs a string tree and I don’t see why having one is a problem. The hardware (bridge, saddles, switches, pots, jack) are pretty low quality but it all works fine. My input jack is loose and there’s no nut to tighten that one can get to without taking the guitar apart. Unfortunately I would not recommend this guitar to anyone.

    • @TheMixWithABD
      @TheMixWithABD  Před rokem +2

      I talk about it for a quick second in the video. The tuners are staggered. So they get lower (shorter) as it goes from low E to high E. So there’s no need for string trees

    • @laurenconway7153
      @laurenconway7153 Před rokem +1

      @@TheMixWithABD yeah I did watch and see what you said in the video I was just wondering how the tuning was as the break angle does still seem shallow with the staggered tuners (without the string tree), I’m interested in purchasing one just good to find out from an owner how the tuning is and have sire got it right 👌🏻

    • @TheMixWithABD
      @TheMixWithABD  Před rokem +2

      @@laurenconway7153 the tuning is actually very solid. The break angle works perfectly. I have staggered tuners on a custom strat and these work just as well. The T7 has locking tuners. These are not. But they are indeed solid. The nut is cut very well and the strings don’t get stuck in the slots at all. Sire makes unreal quality instruments for very little money. You can pick up any sire and expect high quality.
