+Peggyzone100 Yes Simon did great for a while but after Leona's second album "Echo", Simon did very bad. Echo only saw 2 singles release, not much hype for the album and rely 100% on the success and marketing of Spirit. As for Glassheart, never made it to the US. No official release in the US and very few promo in the UK itself. That is beyond Leona's control. I AM is a confessional album. Leona wants to make a statement about her career with Syco which is why she decided to release Thunder. It may not break the chart but it gets the attention it deserves.

I really feel as if Leona is almost starting as a brand new artist again. Her new label is trying to relaunch her and I think she has the potential to be huge again but like any 'new' artist it will take time for her to launch herself. I do hope this album does really well!

Leona can sing high notes. she has gorgeous voice. but that is not enough to make one a great singer. She needs to know how to sing different songs differently-- she uses the same techniques to sing all her songs! that's not appropriate. most of the time, her voice just reflects beauty but not soul.

Too many people define an artist's success by how big they are in the States -- the music industry in the states is fickle - one moment you're big with an album like Leona, Kylie, Dido, Bjork, Lilly, Keane (all great talent) - the next moment, they forget who you are because the same old generic beats are churned out by their own crop. Their radio stations are ageist too. It must be so hard to keep on cracking that market, knowing that even when you do, you've still gotta bash on the doors with relentless promotion & publicity tactics. Once was a time where there was a balanced ratio of European artists in the billboards - not anymore.

I sing all Leona Lewis's songs in the shower, I'm not that good, but I can tell when someone is, and she use to have the most amazing voice. I won a drawing competition for a art scholarship in high school. I know when the shape of a face changes. Leona's nose is a lot smaller then it was, after her nose job, her voice is not the same, it is not as deep and as powerful as it was once. That's why she is not as popular as a singer as she was before. But it's not all bad, she was Beautiful before, but now she's breath taking, Gorgeous. ...You can't have everything in this life, and now she is one of the most Beautiful Woman on Earth. ...She's just not one of the best singers any more, but there is nothing wrong with just being a normal human being, at least she made it to the BIG time for once in her life, most of us can only dream of reaching the stars, and she reached them. ...There is no shame in retiring, and just being married and raising a family. ...She has 24 million dollars according to Google. Why so few views? Ok, so the music video might not be Leona's best creation, but at least it showcases a subtle/shallow storyline and her musical abilities. Leona is such a talented and inspirational artist. Why isn't she getting the recognition and support she deserves? She's underrated and that shouldn't be the case. I think that the music industry these days is going downhill - there's so much lacking in terms of musical talent. Leona has worked hard to get to where she is now and yet there are artists out there who don't make much effort and don't make good enough material. A solo man/woman who writes their own meaningful songs should be admired in the music industry nowadays, why does Leona have to be underrated?
