How refreshing to hear a hymn sung in the correct way, without all the swooping into notes and addition of notes that modern vocalists think are the way to make a song better. It doesn't. This is how it should be sung. Hitting each note written. Notice the saxophone does the swooping and jazzing it up after the singing stops. That does not add to a beautiful song. It detracts from it.
This is your opinion, that doesn’t make it true. God has created everyone in a different way…with different styles of singing. ALL ways of singing to the Lord, praises God.
@@eternallife2573 Yes, as a musician with several degrees in classical music, it is my expert musicological opinion. Other opinions are based on personal feelings. Mine is based on knowledge of technique and proper musical interpretation of the intent of the composer. Just like some people think recreational drugs are wonderful, but doctors would say otherwise. Are both opinions equally as valid?
