- While the enemy of my enemy may indeed almost always be my friend, it does not necessarily follow that the friend of my enemy is automatically my enemy. International relations are of course more complicated than any simplistic headline.
Nevertheless, not since the end of the Cold War has there emerged such a stark alignment of competing alliances. Israel has sided with and is supported by the US-led coalition of Western nations and some moderate Arab regimes, while Russia has allied itself with China, North Korea and Iran, and though President Putin’s motive is his military need in the Ukraine war, there are grave repercussions in the Middle East. GOD our Savior is not far away, and His Word is by our side. Also, these Words change our dull hearts into wisdom, and the hearts of wisdom guide us to the path of YESHUA, the LORD of the Holy Spirit.
The important thing is that when we receive the heart of wisdom from the LORD GOD, we become careless and receptive, giving the glory to our own interests and people instead of giving it to GOD (a representative example is Solomon).
First, think about why the LORD GOD, the LORD of heaven and earth, came to the world as a poor and weak person. Also, gratefully imitate the mercy, grace, and love that He gave to this world and mankind, and pray for patience, just as the LORD YESHUA did to GOD the Father. If you follow the prayers of faith, righteousness, and good deeds, the LORD GOD will personally show you His teachings and the work and will of the Holy Spirit that must be done.
Just as GOD the Father and the LORD YESHUA showed me and taught me! Amen!

I tripped on a phrase you spoke about near the beginning of this report - "grave repercussions in the Middle East". Hearing those words made me ask: Backwards in time to the present day grave repercussions in the Middle East; new age thinking?
I feel that 'grave repercussions in the Middle East' have been the order of the day since the Israel of God was created by him, and for his purposes. The wise do not contest with God, though not always from fear of God, rather a fear for their own skin. Even so a great host has arisen and grows stronger each day that refutes God's being, his prophecies, His purposes.
I've seen global events leading to grave repercussions in the Middle East, and vice versa. I feel that from the day a man stood ready to offer the life of his son to God, in what is now called Jerusalem, a nexus of interaction between all peoples was created there. Grave repercussions have streamed in and out of this nexus ever since Abraham's day.
Thank you Jonathan for bringing up China.....that's a topic that really needs more attention. People should really look more at China's growing influence in the Middle East.

Russian cooperation with Iran, China and Noth Korea has been predictable due to the stupidity of American and British gamble in Ukraine. NATO (read the US) has provoked Russia by weaponizing Ukraine against it and unleashing unprecedented economic sanctions against Moscow. Russian demands until March 2022 were rather realistic: no NATO membership in NATO for Ukraine (I mean c'mon 5 NATO expansions in 30 years!?) and autonomy for the DPR and LPR. How do you think the US would react if Mexico would allow Chinese and Russian bases next to its Southern border? The US, NATO and the EU want to have one set of security rules for them and another set of conditions for other powers. This will not work. In 2014 the US facilitated another (in its history) coup, in Kiev, sabotaged Minsk-1 and Minsk-2 and forced Russia to defend its Western borders populated 90% with the Russian people. Also blew up Russian gas pipeline.
I support Israel but I totally understand Russia. Unless you want Russia to be a subservient, little, submissive state like Latvia or Albania...Russia is a major power. You can't just ignore its security concerns. Total lack of understanding of the Russian sensitivities. Utter stupidity. Russia will win this war and the relations with the largest nuclear power in the world will be ruined for a long time. For what? For the neo-Nazi Ukraine? Ukraine was not and is not a democracy like France or Holland. Trump would have been wiser.
