After KCET, KEA conducts Agriculture practical exam (KEA will notify you regarding the Agriculture practical exam), Duration of the exam will be 20-30 minutes and you will have to score minimum 100 marks out of 200. There isn't a separate practical exam for Veterinary course in Karnataka. If you would like to claim veterinary seat under agriculture quota, you need to attend agriculture practical exam. Please note: You must have 'agriculture certificate' and you need to tick the boxes related to a specific question ' Do you want to you claim seat under agriculture quota?' , ' Your preferred practical exam centre?' questions in KCET application form. If you have/had failed to fill so, you could wait till July 19th for CORRECTION of KCET application form.

Only KCET marks will be considered this year (2021). But next year both board and kcet marks will be considered. Scoring 95+ % in boards and 45+ aggregate in KCET (PCB) enhance your chances to get BVSc.

Earlier it was mandatory to apply KVAFSU for veterinary course, but this year due to mentioned reason you will see entirely new procedure. As your score is good in both. You can go through both the ways. As seats are limited, in NEET or KCET counseling they allot seats to the candidates who have scored above the cut off score. If your score is above the cut off and if you are done with Option entry, there could be a chance. Most of the time, they stop counseling after the 2nd round and they don't go for the 3rd or last round. Make sure that you have selected few veterinary colleges during option entry.
