The footage underscores the importance of defensive driving due to idiotic behavior.

Remember, in 36 states, if you brake check a semi, they have the right to ram you out of the way and keep going. If they have dashcam of the brake check, you’re also liable for any damage to the truck. Washington state has a law that says if you pass a truck you must wait until you are a length equal to the length of the truck before reentering the lane. If you fail to do so and there is an accident, you get at least three tickets and an automatic license suspension for thirty days. Out of state drivers get their car impounded. That is in addition to the tickets. If you drive without current registration and your car is from out of state, they are now supposed to impound the car.
