The last time I was there was in the late 70s. I don't remember any stores still being there, but they had a haunted house in the building where the clock tower was.
I will forever regret not yoinking some of the custom Bull & Anchor stoneware plates I found when exploring the place. I am an idiot. I lived in the ruins of the square for six months and got to see a lot of the place inside and out.
