A theme representing the light side to Berserk. Guts is a very gentle person deep down and his love for casca and his comrades is like nothing else. If you read the manga you should know what the title means. Music inspired by the manga Berserk and influenced by the work of the great composer John Williams.

Beyond pain, anger and revenge there are beautiful things, irreplaceable things.
Indeed..
Sparks...
Verdade...
Damn do I love this.
I love how this track has clear influences from the Golden Age soundtrack by Shirō Sagisu. There's a definitive air of hope to it, but it still retains some of that darker underbelly. The best way I can think to describe this track, is that it is like the first ray of sunshine after a heavy storm. After the rain clears away and you're reminded of just how bright the sky can be.
Absolutely amazing work!
Love it, the title even - if I'm assuming right - is from one of the best chapters 'Cracks in the Blade' a turning point for Guts. Beautiful.
Thank God I got this in my recommended
Bravo! This is a beautiful and often haunting piece Ryerson! I really enjoyed your melodies, harmonies, modulations, and use of tension and release in your orchestration...Peace!
Music Shoppe Gerald Braden thank you Gerald! It means a lot that you took the time to listen let alone comment! I appreciate it!
You're welcome Ryerson, after all, I am an old music professor, so I actually listen! Some of this piece reminds me a little of Brahms, who is one of my major influences. Now if only I could build as many subscribers as you....Ha! I subscribed, so I will listen for new works, and listen to your other works as well...Peace!
Thank you for listening! I love seeing people that appreciate "old music". I was inspired by John Williams for this one, I need to listen to more Brahms now! My favourite composer is Beethoven, he's been a huge inspiration for me. And thank you! :)
I'm from Vienna, Austria, and a "tonalist" from the 1st Viennese school of music. Although I had to teach my students Schoenberg, Berg, Webern...etc, atonality, micro tonality, and serialism just are not my cup of tea. John Williams is great (as well as Hans Zimmer), and he learned much from Gustav Holst, as well as Sibelius, Delius, Vaughn Williams, and other great masters. Don't forget to also take time to study scores from Richard Strauss, Bruckner, and Wagner....Peace! btw...This piece you composed, shows every indication that you are going to be a great composer. I would love to hear this live.., as well as my pieces also....sigh
Thanks! And atonality and serialism isn't my favourite either but I have found that I appreciate and love anything that's art, i.e. where the composer put his heart into what he/she created :) And I have a lot to learn from romantic composers!
You have talent dear sir. Wish you'd be making to a great anime (even a future Berserk adaptation) with your skill. Bless you!
Perfect music for the latest chapter.
Rest in peace, Miura.
