Aquiline Talon Tire Chains. Installation. Kubota LX2610 Compact Tractor. Getting Winter Ready. Part 4. outdoor channel.
I purchased and install a set of Aquiline Talon Tractor Tire Chains on the rear tires of my compact tractor in this last step of getting Winter-Ready. They are a box -pattern, studded set of chains. I can already tell that the box pattern provides a smoother ride on dry, hard surfaces (compared to my old set of H pattern, V-hook chains). It won't be long before I test out the traction performance of these chains in our snowy winter. Cheers!
The installation begins at the 2:05 minute mark.
IMPORTANT NOTE: When you are test-driving the tractor with your chains, I would recommend that you tie up any loose or dangling side chains etc so they are not swinging loosely around under your fenders. Just my suggestion.
