You didnt mention that you may have to burp the system and add more antifreeze down the road, I had it done at the ta and the gave me an extra gal of antifreeze that I had to add down the road 30 MINutes later.

What was the issues with the heater core?
Question. How did you know you needed a new heater core?
I think I may need a new one but not certain. When I turn my engine on its making this cranking noise the the a/c cuts on. Is that indication that I need a new one? Also, it's only blowing the a/c. The heater will not come on.
Same thing happened to me too. Not answer ? Did you find out what’s wrong?

@@dieselfix3663 I’m having a coolant leak in that same area but I’m heat is still working,could it be the heater core or something else?
You might need to replace just a vent behind the dash, blessings

No need ito drain it if you plug the hoses
