Me and my best friend have been doing a platinum run for this game for a week or two, and one thing we noticed: the camera mechanics in this game are something else. I'm looking to post elsewhere on this, but a couple details: -The camera seems to, at times, have what I described as a "shotgun" effect where, if multiple opportunities are in a location? Get as far back as you can and take a photo, because it acts like you snapped up all three pictures. We took the Opportunity lighthouse picture from the position you gave, and we noticed we couldn't take pictures of the animatronic crow or the hanging animals later. (The trophy still popped.) -The way the camera finds the opportunities is not only broken, but if you know where the opportunity is and snap it, you can get certain photos without even triggering certain cutscenes leading to them. -Walls in this game don't affect the camera at all. At least one opportunity (the door in Scouting) are directly in the line of aim with another confirmed opportunity (Holmes' hat), to the point where we wonder if the door is erroneously considered an op. My friend pointed out that, for the sake of a trophy about crime scene photography, the hat is more of an op than the door. What's more, there are several other opportunities that can be cheesed in this way (the pool dummy in Spa from the shower room, the hanging corpses and Harrison's body in Cliffside from the curing room, the mannequin holding towels in Pool from the other side of the pool with a closed door, and perhaps the best one, getting the blood splatter from outside the building by angling the camera at the door frame - my friend discovered this one between us). The whole thing, they definitely tried to make it work, but the mechanic is so buggy (and I wouldn't say in the wrong way - more that they just didn't fine tune it right) that if you knew how it worked, you could turn the camera segments into a comedy.

Go on the left there is an indent in the desk where an ax was swung into it. That's where it turned green for me, I found it before even watching this video lol
Hate when content/trophy accessibility is behind Curator's Cute/co-op. Had to go through that during Man of Medan and thought Supermassive Games learnt this lesson.

If Erin thinks Charlie screwed everyone over but Mark trusts him anyways then Erin and Charlie are together with Mark in the Lighthouse. Mark is with Kate starting in the chapter Scouting. Lastly the mannequin actually counts for Jamie in the chapter Mannequins.
so in the columbus spa, after you and jamie push the door open and fall through the trap door, how did you get her to move past the door? for me she she walks right to it and stops in the doorway and wont move in curator mode

Can you replay a chapter make the photos and then leave? And select another chapter will the game save your progress or do you need to do this in one run from beginning to end?
Any body have a problem with getting a photo of the hotel on the Cliffside chapter ? Got the lighthouse but the green doesn't show when I try and take one of the hotel and I know I didn't previously

I've done all these pictures and the trophy hasn't popped. Anyone know of any glitches with the photos? I couldn't take the one of the hotel from the dock in cliffside cause it can be got during pool aswell. Don't know if that screwed something up or not.
@@kayleykillick5824 after sitting through the credits go to your save file and hit continue the credits will play again and then sit through all the credits again and the trophy should pop if not try hitting continue again and skip all the credits that's what worked for me
So if you don't have curators cut you must buy it... What a bullsheet. However... Photos are cumulative? I can take them in more play? (I think yes based on the fact you have to do curator's cut too)
#2 doesn't even exist that is H H Holmes hat in the next zone.. i just lost half an hour trying to understand why you take a picture from a door and i noticed you did not even take a picture of holmes hat wich is the one you take through the wall. At least write it somewhere so that we know it. Its a year old and never got corrected.
I wish the photos actually meant something other than just an achievement

Oh, great catch! I was standing there trying to get the right angle for 666 minutes. But now it makes sense.
Explains why I couldn't get a good angle on the equipment on the wall but a perfect angle on the mannequin on the table at number 4.

There’s no green mark for me to take a picture with the very fist spot. The desk or what not, it stays white and doesn’t turn to green.

Does Marks photo opportunities save when scene selecting or do you have to do it all in one playthrough?
You can use Scene Selection to do them, they're saved globally like the collectables.

So in total there’s technically 28? Counting 4 crew member photos and the lighthouse in the beginning. That’s what I counted

I think you missed the mannequin when you play as mark in the curators cut and get scared by it at the cliffs at the beginning.

Try to NOT skip anything in the credits. I skipped the skippable part at first and didn't get the achievement either.

Yes they are. But Shared Story is the same as Curator's Cut. U just need a online partner 👍
