I've had this keyboard since launch, but I'd really like to see Logitech come out with a refresh that has hot swappable switches.
got this one like 2 / 3 years ago ~ and been enjoying it from the first day , i have had never ever experianced any other wireless device with this good of connectivity , and i mean ANY ! i use my PC like 10 Hrs + daily and i have NEVER , NEVER had a single time that i press a key and it didnt register instantly , and also the battery ? ufff it is one of those that u almost forget about hah its that good :) once u charge it it takes a good time till u need to recharge it again , but then again i dont use the backlight that often since my room is mostly with lights on , if i could complain about anything at all it would be 2 things, 1- Hot swapp switches 2 - wish the keys were also symbol light thru for the backlight . that is ONLY and only complain i have about this . if those two are not a - for you trust me ull enjoy it more than any other keyboard
Ive had two (only bought one). The first one, which I only owned for 3 months, the switch broke on the "G" keycap. Logitech's RMA process was a joke so I bought replacement switch. The people I tool it too couldnt swap the switch and it would be fairly pricey to swap. Needless to say it went right into the trash. The second one came from my dad as he didnt like the board. Its fine, but I'm waiting on one of the switches to die. This more than likely be my last logitech keyboard unless they get into the custom keyboard market (but I doubt they will).
For what this keyboard is, the one thing that it is: overpriced. But... I have one (TKL) on my desk and truly enjoy it. Redragon, another keyboard manufacturer, has an 98% replica of this for less than 80 CAD. I think the white keyboard makes the legend easier to read. People complain about "wobbly" keys, but that is not the case on mine. I have had so many low profile keyboards and I find myself always go back to the TKL layout with good readable keys, no fancy fonts and stuff like that. Oh, mine has the brown switches, most of the work I do is perfectly fine with tactile switches.
Can you recommend a wrist rest for this keyboard please? I have the glorious stealth wrist rest, but I think it is too thick for that keyboard. Thank you.
It's a great keyboard and I love it. But for the price, the build quality is horrid. The keys wear out very fast and the mechanisms that hold them in place at flimsy. I've snapped 2 shift keys and worn my buttons out in under 2 years.
In comparison my older mechanical keyboards are still in relatively good condition, with minor wear and tear on the keys after 4-5 years of heavy gaming. For about 1/3 of the price.
I just want this standard keyboard in white/silver warriant.. I know TKL exist but i want standard version.. I don't get why they didn't do it but for TKL version it exist.. weird... I will just wait for new version... if they will drop this year 🙏 I bought their G502 X Plus mouse and wireless charging mat.. it works perfect.. Would be perfect option if can that mat be super super long.. to be under keyboard and mouse so can charge both.. We will see what future will give us.. 😊
remake without the G buttons on the left and USB-C would be nice
