Didn't know you had a second channel!!! Nice! Should be good to see pairing with different hubs (like SmartThings, Echo hub, etc).
Yessir! Just getting back to building videos for this one. Should be good to make simple, easy to follow tutorials!
Is there a maximum of hubs per house that you can use? I could use about 6 for example.
how do you see the temperature? i linked with google home its showing the light level and temperature but i cant find it in the hue app
the problem i'm having is that it is set up to turn the lights on dim when motion is detected. However sometime I want it bright, and when i select bright, it will go back to dime once it senses motion. any tips? i also have it synced to my HomeKit.
Will the motion sensor work in pitch black? I really only want to use this one for a night light if we have to get up in the middle of the night. Set it up under my bed to get my lights on when it sees our feet or whatever
Absolutely. That's one of the big benefits of a motion sensor!
Hi, this motion sensor works with other lamps (no Philips)? Thank you
Yes it does, through our smart home systems though.
Can you set it up so say between 7am-9pm it shows as a white light then 9pm-7am the light colour changes to a red light? So that when motion is triggered the colour changes based on the time of day?
Yep!
Will this hub trigger a routine in googlfor lights that are not HUE?
Yep
Can you use this with a Hue smart plug?
Yep, you'll need a Hue Hub though to coordinate the automation
I dont have a tab "accessoirs" under settings no idea whats wrong :-(
Make sure your app is fully updated, and make sure you're using the official Hue app. Otherwise, maybe just try adding a new device like you're adding a light and then put the motion sensor into pairing mode with the pin.
You need the Hue Bridge
Where do you downlod the app???
The play store of apple app store. Look up Philips Hue
I can’t find the accessories area
It's a little different now. You'll find it under Settings
Can you mount it on the roof?
It's not an outdoor sensor. Hue has one of those.
You can show me exactly the app because it doesn’t appear the same as yours.
The apps change, I won't be remaking this for some time though. It's fairly similar to this today though, so good luck!
Mine turns it's self off in the app settings half the time
Odd one there. Never heard of that happening!
My brain just died.
